Stampin’ Up! Many Blessings Merry Christmas

Merry Monday, y’all!

Oxymoron much, Mare?!? 😉

Sorry to have missed you guys last night – but will be back in the swing of things next week.  Promise!

I made a quick and simple little number for you today – using the pretty new Many Blessings stamp set from the 2018 Holiday Catalog.  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one came from the sketch side of this week’s Fusion challenge!

And the colors come from the FabFriday color challenge – although I hadn’t taken any Calypso Coral with me to Cali – so I substituted Grapefruit Grove!

I started with a piece of Whisper White card stock and, in Call Me Clover ink, stamped the wreath image from Many Blessings – letting it hang off the edge of the panel to create the sketch shape.  I used my Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Write Marker to fill in the leaves.

Then I added berries in Poppy Parade.

With my Grapefruit Grove, I stamped the little corner image – also from Many Blessings – in the three corners.  I added a little Call Me Clover with my Stampin’ Write Marker, and then adhered some small dots from the new Santa’s Workshop Enamel Shapes (in the 2018 Holiday Catalog – and a FREE gift from me for ordering one of my I Want It All Catalog Shares!).

Then I adhered the panel to a Lemon Lime Twist mat with Liquid Glue.

I inked part of the Many Blessing sentiment in Poppy Parade and half in Grapefruit Grove (pretty easy since this is a photopolymer stamp set) and stamped it on a piece of Whisper White.  Then I cut it with the label die from the Stitched Labels Framelits (2018-2019 Annual Catalog).

I popped the sentiment on with a couple of Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Finally, I tied a little bow from Grapefruit Grove Nature’s Twine and adhered it with a dab of Liquid Glue to complete the card front!

On the inside, I repeated the Many Blessings corner flourishes in Grapefruit Grove, Call Me Clover and Poppy Parade Santa’s Workshop Enamel Shapes.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Lemon Lime Twist mat and into my Poppy Parade card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got a repeat of the Many Blessings flourishes on the front…

…and I added the wreath to the envelope flap!

Et Voila!  I love this Many Blessings set – it’s got such lovely images and sentiments covering Fall and Christmas!  Hope you like!

Check out Many Blessings on page 46 of your Holiday Catalog!

What?  Don’t have one?  Give me a shout and I’ll get one in the mail to you ASAP! 🙂

Finn Fan Fix

Well – we’re back! 🙂

Did I tell you I got up early on Saturday morning and went downstairs to their fitness center?  At 3:30??!  And yes, walked/jogged on the treadmill for 45 minutes.

I felt pretty righteous, really.

Until about 7pm – then I simply…crashed! LOL!

I was missing my treadmill from the hotel on Sunday.

Yeah.  Weird, I know.

But – while the treadmill is sort of no-brainer….and easy….it’s missing an important component!

Pantaloonies! 🙂

My little furry Finn-Mill!

  1. What a pretty card! Great clean design, perfect colors too! Awww…the little wiggly butt leading the way while you were out and about. So sweet! 🙂

    • stampsnlingers

Isn’t it just the cutest wiggle butt?!? 😉 Thanks, Amy! 🙂

  2. Beautiful design…love the corners too…and those pantaloons.

    • stampsnlingers

Yep – they’re the cutest pantaloonies ever! Thanks, Karen! 🙂

  3. Pantaloonies are WAY better than a treadmill! Lovely card.

    • stampsnlingers

They’re pretty good – now if they could just suck the humidity out of the air like my A/C does… 😉 Thanks, Julie! 🙂

  4. Elisha Smith

The treadmill at 3:30 AM? Oh my! How did you keep from splashing hot coffee all over yourself?! Lol! Such a sweet, delicate card – I love it! And it’s so good to see you and Finn back together!

    • stampsnlingers

Weeelll…the coffee in the hotel room was so nasty I didn’t even drink it. So…no worries there! Thanks so much, Elisha! 🙂

  5. Susan K

Nothing like cute pantaloons and fresh air to get back into the groove! Cute card too. Love that wreath.

  6. Pat C

Such a BEAUTIFUL card, Mary. I’ve been on the look-out for Christmas card ideas and I think this may fit the bill. Many Blessings stamp set and Stitched Labels framelits are now competing for the #1 spot on my holiday catalog wish list, along with several other things.
I’m happy that you’re home safe and sound, and really really really happy that Finn has his mom back!
Your blog postings of Mr. WiggleButt are a highlight of my day! 😍

    • stampsnlingers

I’m glad to be back with him, too! And I think he likes walking with me – his Dad’s not a big walker (he’s usually too busy working!). So…it’s a double good thing. And yep – Many Blessings and the wondrous Stitched Labels. Perfect pair for Christmas cards! Thanks much! 🙂

  7. Kate

    I like it…nice little scroll-y corners.
O.K. Could we have a little charity? I get wiggle-butt. Could we maybe have a modicum of appreciation for “lumpy gimp-y butt”? Clara thinks only fair. 😆

    • stampsnlingers

Well, sure. Lumpy gimp-y butt is really good, too! Just….she might not be much help motivating me to get off MY butt! 🙂 Thanks, Mom!

  8. So super sweet – those corner details are just gorgeous! Wonderful in our colors – I don’t know why I didn’t think Christmas – this is brilliant! Thanks so much for playing at Fab Friday!

    • stampsnlingers

LOL – these days I’ve got Christmas on the brain, so…I suspect that’s why it occured to ME! 🙂 Thanks so much, Heather – appreciate you stopping by! 🙂

  9. Diane Durbin

Really liked this card! I had just really looked at this stamp set for the first time on Saturday. Up until then I had just skipped over it. So I decided I liked it and had been looking for ideas for using it. Guess what – almost nothing! Lots of demonstrators must be overlooking it! So extra thanks for featuring it.

    • stampsnlingers

So glad I could give you some inspiration, Diane! Thanks very much! 🙂

  10. BarbGhig

Such a beautiful wreath and lovely take on the sketch, Mary! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Fusion!
