Stampin’ Up! Dandelion Wishes for the Crazy Crafter’s Blog Hop!

Hey, y’all!  It’s way later on a Saturday (or any day, for that matter!) than you’re used to seeing me, but…I was tickled (and…amazed!!) to be invited by my friend Kylie Bertucci to be the guest on the Crazy Crafters Blog Hop!

Of course I said of course!! 🙂

For these hops, everyone who plays along CASEs a card they find on my blog.  Including me!  So – I went thru some past posts and found one that really appealed to me.  I loved the DSP and stamped flowers and the layout!

And then I CASE’d it with current goodies!  The centerpiece is the new Dandelion Wishes stamp set and some pretty Garden Impressions DSP.  Take a look-see:

I started with some paper from Garden Impressions, matted on Shaded Spruce card stock for the card front.  I laid a rectangle of Whisper White card stock in place over the DSP and, with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, stamped the pretty Dandelion Wishes image.

You’ll notice that I allowed the image to spill off the Whisper White onto the DSP.  I actually used my Stamparatus to make this image, since I wanted to be able to stamp it a few times and help “cross the boundary” between card stock and DSP.

I stamped it a couple of times until it was as dark as I wanted and then punched the corners with the new Detailed Trio Punch.  Then I matted the panel on more Shaded Spruce card stock and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.

I used Glue Dots to wind and adhere a length of new Black 1/2″ Satin Ribbon.

I used the Stamparatus to stamp the Dandelion Wishes sentiment in Tuxedo Black on a little more of the Garden Impressions DSP, then I cut it out with a circle Stitched Shapes Framelits die.  I matted it on a Shaded Spruce Starburst Punch mat with Liquid Glue.  Then I popped it over the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  A single pink Share What You Love Artisan Pearl finished off the card front.

On the inside, I added some fly-away wisps from Dandelion Wishes in Tuxedo Black to a Whisper White panel and punched the corners with the Detailed Trio Punch.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Shaded Spruce mat and into my Basic Black card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got some more Dandelion Wishes wispy’s across the front…

…and a little more Garden Impressions DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I really really love this Dandelion Wishes stamp set – I don’t necessarily love a field full of real dandelions – but I DO love these images!  And the font for the pretty sentiments is really quite wonderful!  Hope you like! 🙂

Now that you’ve seen my card, I hope you’ll see what the other hoppers came up with!  I’m excited to see myself!  Click each name below to go to each blog.

Have fun on the hop!
