Stampin’ Up! Blossoming Baskets and Butterflies

Happy Happy Hawwwmp Day, y’all!  How’s the week going so far?

This card is one we made at our team meeting on Sunday!  I didn’t get it finished at the meeting, so I brought it home.  And made a few little changes from the original card.  It uses one of the coolest of the free Sale-A-Bration goodies – the Blossoming Basket bundle (available with a $100 purchase!).  Take a look-see:

We started with a Whisper White panel that we matted on Calypso Coral for the card front.  Then we adhered a Crumb Cake panel that was embossed in the Basket Weave Dynamic TIEF!

I stamped some Blossoming Basket butterflies in Basic Gray Archival Ink and colored them in Calypso Coral and Daffodil Delight, using my Blender Pens and picking up ink from the lid of my ink pad.

Under the butterflies, I stamped a sentiment from Blossoming Basket in Basic Gray Archival Ink.

The art piece is a square of Whisper White, matted on a Calypso Coral scalloped mat, cut with the Squares Layering Framelits.  I stamped the beauteous Blossoming Basket in Basic Gray Archival ink, then colored it with Blender Pens in Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake and Pear Pizzazz.  It’s popped on the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I tied a double-bow of Linen Thread and adhered it with a smooshed up Glue Dot.  For a little extra sumpin’ sumpin’, I brushed the flowers and butterflies with my Clear Wink of Stella and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped a few more Blossoming Basket butterflies in Basic Gray Archival Ink and colored them as I did on the front.  I also brushed these with the Clear Wink!

I Fast Fuse’d the panel to a Calypso Coral mat and into a Daffodil Delight card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium envelope got more colored and “wink’d” Blossoming Basket butterflies on the front…

…and I embossed the envelope flap in the Basket Weave Dynamic TIEF!

Et Voila!  Amy Koenders came up with this cute design to showcase this perfectly perfect (and FREE!) Blossoming Basket stamp set and bundled Basket Weave Dynamic TIEF!  And – just so you know – the Basket Weave TIEF WILL be in the next Annual Catalog – just…likely not bundled…and definitely not free!  So – get it now! 😉
