Stampin’ Up! Freshly Elegant Medallions

Mornin’, y’all!  Like any three-day weekend, this one is flying by!  Hope you’re having a good one so far.

So – I’ve got some good news and some bad new for y’all.  Which one do you want first?

My choice is always to get the bad news out of the way first, so…

I know you’ve been watching the Delightful Daisy suite very closely – and no doubt are ready to order it just as soon as the catalog goes live next Thursday.  But.

It turns out that the Daisy Punch has been even more wildly popular than Stampin’ Up! could have anticipated!  And they anticipated high – believe me!  Because of this, the current supply of Daisy Punches has sold out.  To prevent this punch from being in a near-permanent backorder status for the first few months of the catalog, they’ve made the difficult decision to turn off ordering for the Daisy Punch beginning 1 June.  They won’t be accepting any additional orders for this punch until their first shipment arrives the week of June 26 June.  Ordering will be turned off for both the punch and the Daisy Delight Bundle (the Daisy Punch and coordinating stamp set).

So, even though the punch won’t be available for purchase on the 1st, it will be available later in June.  I’ll let y’all know just as soon as I see that the Daisy Punch and Daisy Delight stamp set bundle are available for ordering again.

The good news is that there’s about 200 pages of aweosme-ness in the new catalog, so…I feel pretty confident that you’ll be able to find something that will strike your fancy while you wait for the Daisy Punch!  I know I’ve got two packed pages of somethings to order on the first along with my share order!!  Good thing I’ll be getting that 20% discount!!

My card for today uses the Eastern Medallions Thinlits and the Eastern Beauty stamp set.  This card is what we’ll be making tonight on my Facebook Live video.  I’ll be live at my normal time of 8pm Eastern on my Stamps-N-Lingers Facebook page.  Take a look-see:

My inspiration for this card came from two places.

The first is this photo in The Card Concept challenge:

And I also drew some ideas from Rochelle Blok, the guest designer at the TGIF Challenges this week.

I do hope you’ll join me tonight!!

I Have a Few Share Spots Left!!

Stamps-N-Lingers 2017-2018 Annual Catalog Shares

What are catalog shares, you ask?  Well…think of them as a Test Drive of a new catalog!

In this Annual Catalog, there are 16 new Designer Papers….14 new Embellishments…..and more new ribbons than I can count!!  If you were to buy one of each of them –  you’d spend over $600!  Shares are a great way to get a little of everything from the new Catalog!  You get a chance to “try before you buy”!

I’ve got a few options for you to pick from:  a New Designer Series Paper Share, a New Ribbons/Embellishments Share, and an I Want It All Share (this one gets a couple of free extra goodies!!).  You can get all the details and a full list of what you’ll get with each share type and get signed up for your Share right here.  Don’t delay – 30 May is the cutoff date!

Online Host Club – There are a Few Openings Left for the July Club!

I’ve got 3 openings in my July – December Club.  The club will cover the new Annual Catalog and the fall-release of the 2017 Holiday Catalog!  You know you’re going to want to order lots of goodies from both catalogs – so why not get some Host Rewards at the same time??

Here’s how it works….

You sign up for a 6 month term and commit to:

  • Placing a $25.00 minimum order by the 20th of each month
  • And you’ll use the Host code I’ll provide in an email sent out at the beginning of each month

Once 6 members have joined, a random draw will determine your host month and you are guaranteed:

  • A $150.00 Workshop order during your host month
  • $15.00 minimum of Stampin’ Rewards dollars to spend on the exclusive Host Stamp Sets, or any other current Stampin’ Up! product during your host month
  • You earn TWO Peppermint Reward points for every $25 that you order on your Host Club Orders. So your $25.00 order earns TWO Peppermints every month, a $50 order earns 4 reward points, a $75 order earns you 6 reward points, etc. You’ll earn at least 12 reward points during your membership, building up your Peppermints towards FREE Items!
  • FREE monthly tutorial with 4-5 projects
  • FREE catalogs during your membership term
  • FREE shipping in your Host Month
  • A FREE STAMP SET of your choice valued up to $20 at the end of the 6 months, any current set (excluding host sets)!
  • At the end of the 6 months, you’ll get first dibs at signing up for the next 6 month term
  • During your host month you’re welcome to gather extra orders to increase your host rewards (just give your friends the host code for their orders), it’s that easy!

So what do you think?  If it sounds like a good idea, let me know right quick and we’ll get you signed up!  You can drop me a line right at:  stamps-n-lingers@comcast.net!

Finn-Fan Fix…

My puppy is a very smart boy.

Yesterday morning, in a fit of I-don’t-even-know, I mowed the arena.  Wayne had gone fishing and I was just waiting for the horses to finish eating.  Finny and I had done a few rounds already and I was bored with that.  So…I mowed!

It wasn’t too hot, but it wasn’t cool, either.  As I made my round and round and round on the mower, I realized Finny had left me.

So – I whistled him up and here he came.  From the barn.

This happened a few times before I was finished mowing and went to put the mower away.

And look who I found!

Yep – chillaxin’ in the aisle, smack in front of the giant blowing fan.

He did rouse himself for a good game of play-in-the-hose while I rinsed off the mower.

No dummy is my Finny!

  1. and I have good and bad news for you but I’ll get the good out of the way first…I adore this card and can’t wait for 8 PM. Bad news…I wrote in pen on my order list and the Daisy bundle was the first item on the list 🙁 There are a few items that came after that but not much because…well, you know the 15th is coming up! Finn IS a smart young lad. Have a great day and see ya later.

    • Dang, Karen! But – the good news is that when you CAN order it….20% discount!! Just looking for that silver lining. 😉 Thanks – and “see” you tonight! 🙂

  2. RitaR

Looking forward to your next video (I’m not on Facebook … so it’s YouTube for me).

While you were mowing, Mr. Finn was practicing conservation! Waste not, want not – couldn’t let all that cool air go to waste, could he?! LOL

    • Thanks, Rita! Sorry you can’t join us on Facebook. But happy that you’re planning to watch the YouTube! Yes, Finn is all about not wasting resources!! LOL! 🙂

  3. Your layering looks amazing! Love the colors that you used too, awesome card. I probably won’t be able to catch you live tonight either since I’m visiting my parents, but I’ll watch the reply later. 🙂 You do have one smart dog! I’d be in the exact same spot “supervising” the mowing myself. 😉

  4. Ellie Peckler

Such a pretty card, Mary. I especially love your layering. Have a good Memorial Day and thank you for your service. – Ellie

Beautiful card! Can’t believe all the layering and how your colors make it come together so nicely. Bummer on the daisy bundle…we’ve waited this long, i guess a few more weeks won’t hurt us!
I’m with Finn on the cool spots! TFS.

    • Thanks so much, Susan! It was really pretty easy to make! I know – I’m sorry about the Daisy Punch/Bundle, too. But soon! Soon! 🙂
