Stampin’ Up! Wood Textures Sneak Peek Note Card Holder!

Mornin’, y’all!  I hope you had a great Easter weekend!

Yesterday, I ever-so-slyly shared this picture with you to entice you to join me on Facebook last night…

Well – this was the “rest of the story”!

I made 10 little crates using the new Wood Crate Framelits and some of the too-cool photo-realistic Wood Textures DSP Stack paper!!  Filled them with some pink “grass” and added chocolate Easter Eggs.  They were a hit with my friends yesterday!

For the video last night,  I changed it up a bit and made…

I created the crate and then added three little 3″ x 3″ note cards using the Wood Words stamp set, and 3 matching envelopes that I made with the Envelope Punch Board!

Check out the video and see how to make these little cuties – and then add the Wood Words Bundle to your Wish List!

Scroll on down for the card cuts and all the products you’ll need to make this one for yourself!

Finn-Fan Fix…

Yesterday morning, before we headed over to have Easter dinner with our friends – and let Finny have a playdate with Scout – we had farm work to do!

Fed the horses, cleaned the stalls, pulled feed for dinner.

Then we needed to sweep the aisle.

It was a terrible mess!

Finn’s version of “helping” is a little less than…helpful…

  1. It was fun watching late last night. Perry even smiled listening to you. We all know Finn is looking for those figments in the barn too. They could be hiding under the broom after all 🙂

  2. These wood crates are just awesome, Mary! I love the note cards with matching envelopes, too!

    Nifty!
Perhaps the Finn sees that sweeping thing…with a broom and all…to be woman’s work. Best have a word with the dad! 😃

  4. That little crate is just too cute! Can’t wait to go watch the video. 🙂 Finn certainly looks like he’s “helping” a lot in the pictures. 😉

    • Yep – it really is – and we get to play with it for at least a year! Whoo-hooo!! Finn’s a momma’s helper, for sure. Whether she wants it or not! 🙂

Mary, I really enjoyed watching your video. Your style is so friendly – makes me feel like I’m crafting with you. Didn’t hear Finn snore, though! – Ellie

    • Haha!! He was sleeping quietly – right under the table! Thanks for the nice words – wish we COULD stamp together in person!! Thanks, Ellie!! 🙂

I finally have had the time to watch your video and enjoyed it very much. The little crate had looked fiddly to make, but thanks to your demonstration I am reassured that even I can do it! And the cute notecard and envelopes will be fun to put together. Thanks for the idea!
