Mornin’, y’all! How goes the weekend?
Well – I suppose it’s a little early to tell, huh?
I’ve got card making to do this weekend – our team has a fun Retreat planned next weekend and…I’ve got to get ready! It’s going to be so fun and I can hardly wait – we’ve rented a super cool house that was purpose-built for crafting groups. And they even have catering – so all WE have to do it craft – and eat – and chat!
For today, I’ve made a couple of quick thank-you cards! I used the Accented Blooms and the All Things Thanks stamp sets from the Annual Catalog – on top of a couple of Santa’s Workshop Memories & More Note Cards and Envelopes from the 2018 Holiday Catalog. Take a look-see:
Both cards have identical layouts on the smaller Memories & More Cards – I just changed up the coloring a little!
I inked up the large and lovely Accented Blooms corner image with Versamark ink and stamped the note card. I sprinkled them with White or Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed the image with my Heat Tool.
I stamped the All Things Thanks sentiment in Poppy Parade on Whisper White. Then I stamped it on Mossy Meadow, using Versamark. That one I sprinkled with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heated it up. I punched both sentiments with the Tailored Tag Punch.
I put a few Stampin’ Embellishments on the back of the punched sentiments and used them to wind some Silver Metallic Thread – then I popped the sentiment onto the card front.
I added a single Clear Epoxy Droplet and the card front was done!
On the inside, I added a corner floral image from the Accented Blooms on a panel of Whisper White – one in Poppy Parade and one in Mossy Meadow.
I matted them on Poppy Parade panels and then adhered them inside my cards with Liquid Glue and the cards were done!
The Santa’s Workshop Cards and Envelopes have matching envelopes, so all I had to do was add that little Accented Blooms image to the fronts! One is heat embossed in White and the other in Gold.
Et Voila! I do love this beautiful corner image from Accented Blooms, don’t you? And it’s perfect to add a great sentiment like this one from the All Things Thanks stamp set. Be sure to pick up some of the Santa’s Workshop Memories & More Cards and Envelopes – you get two sizes in the pack. Handy, huh?! Hope you like!

Finn Fan Fix
‘Member me telling you yesterday that Finn accompanies me on my morning walks?
I realized that he’s started to sort of…cheat.
About the time I hit the 2mile point, I notice that he’s not with me.
Sometimes I call LOUDLY and hit the collar.
And then I keep walking.
Yesterday I figured out “the drill”.
“Heeeeyyyy, Mom – here I am!”
“Ya done yet? I’m ready to go in and get a drink and lay in front of that cold air thingy…”
I have to repeat. Cuz…it bears repeating.
SMART smart boy.
