Speaking of retiring….here’s a fun little stamp set that won’t be with us after 31 May!  It’s called Welcome Words and that’s exactly what it’s for!

Welcome, {fill in the blank here}. Whatever—or whoever—needs to be welcomed, you’ll find the words to do it in this set. Create your own baby cards, new neighbor gifts, birthday cards, and more.

Make the card!

1. Stamp a Mint Macaron card base with Mint Macaron ink using the houses image from the Welcome Words stamp set
2. Using the Stars Framelits Dies, cut a large star from a piece of Mint Macaron 2015-2017 In Color Envelope Paper and pop it up with Stampin Dimensionals on the card base.
3. Cut a smaller star from a piece Color Me Irresistible Specialty DSP.  Use a combination of SNAIL and Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to the first start.
4. Stamp the word “Home” in Whisper White Craft ink on a piece of Basic Black card stock and cut to size.  SNAIL to the star.
5. Using Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder, heat emboss the sentiment from Welcome Words on a piece of Whisper White card stock and fussy cut with Paper Snips.  Adhere to the stars with Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue, overlapping the Basic Black sentiment tag slightly.
6. Use a little Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue to adhere three gold sequins, from the Metallic Sequins Assortment, to the card front.

 Now….another Sneak Peek of the 2016-2017 Annual Catalog….

One of the prettiest stamp set and Thinlit bundles in the new catalog is – I think! – the Flourishing Phrases.  This stamp set is just brimming over with wonderful sentiment and floral images.  And the coordinating Thinlit set is spectacular!  Take a look-see:
