Stampin’ Up! Wildflower Birthday With You In Mind For the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all!  It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a color challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table.  I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

The color challenge really sent me right to the sweet Wildflower Birthday Specialty DSP so…I didn’t fight it!  I used that paper as a starting point for a pretty Thank You card with my sentiment coming from the With You in Mind stamp set.  Take a look-see:

I also borrowed the layout from the Sketch Saturday challenge.

I started by adhering a piece of the Wildflower Birthday Specialty DSP on a Pretty in Pink mat for the card front.

I matted a smaller piece of the DSP – this one with Soft Sea Foam leaves – on Pretty in Pink cardstock and then adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.

On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the With You in Mind sentiment in Versamark Ink.  Then I sprinkled it with Gold Metallics WOW Embossing Powder and heat set it with the Heat Tool.

When the powder was cool, I cut out the sentiment using the next-to-smallest Nested Essentials die – then I adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

In the corner, using Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals – I adhered several of the fun die cuts from the sheet of die cuts in the Wildflower Birthday Specialty DSP.

I added some Pool Party dots from the Party Dots pack and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped the sweet daisy from the With You in Mind set in Pretty in Pink ink.  I added three blossoms in two corners of the Basic White panel.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of my Pool Party card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the With You in Mind daisy on the front…

…and more Wildflower Birthday Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.
