Stampin’ UP! Scalloped Autumn Painted Collage Sneak Peek Thank You Card

Good morning again – and happy happy HAWWWMP DAY!  I already hit your inbox once today to let you know that the Die & Die Cutting Tools Flash Sale had begun!  Now, I’m back again!

With a pretty thank you card!  AND – it’s another Sneak Peek from the November 2026 Online Exclusives (coming to you on 3 Nov)!  This time, have a look at the Notes of Collage bundle and the Textured Canvas Specialty Paper!  And I added a little bit of Autumn Opulence Specialty DSP (this is available now as an Online Exclusive!).  Take a look-see:

I pulled some elements for this card from the current Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge board. I went across the top (Fall colors – Frame – Twine); down the diagonal (Fall colors – Leaves – Metallics) and down the right column (Twine – Thanks – Metallics)

I started with two panels of new Textured Canvas Specialty Paper (available 3 November) – a 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ panel and a 2 7/8″ x 3 7/8″ – that I stacked on one another on my work surface.

I placed a long 1 3/8″ wide strip of Autumn Opulence Specialty DSP across the stacked panels…

…and used a pencil to mark on both sides of the strip.

Using three stamps from the new Notes of Collage stamp set (available on 3 Nov) to stamp on both sides of the lines.  I used Golden Glow for the abstract image (that one reminds me – loosely! – of a treble clef symbol!), Lost Lagoon for the large leaf and Petal Pink for the flower.

I pulled the panels apart and used Liquid Glue to adhere the DSP strip to the smaller panel – then trimmed the excess.

Then I used Liquid Glue to adhere the  leftover pieces to the ends of the larger panel – to continue the DSP strip.

Okay – now, I know you’re thinking “Mary – that is NOT the DSP you used!”  And – you’re right.  When I first started I thought this would be the right pattern from the DSP pack.  But…the more the card came together I realized I was wrong – it was making my head hurt!  So…I switched to the more subtle pattern that’s on the finished card.  But – the IDEA is the same. 🙂

With the DSP strip in place, I used Liquid Glue to adhere the each panel to a gold Metal Effects Specialty Paper mat.  Then I popped the smaller panel onto the card front with Stampin’ DImensionals – making sure the stamped images lined up.

Using the die in the Notes of Collage die set – I cut out two large leaves from the gold Metal Effects Specialty Paper.

I adhered them to the card front with Liquid Glue.

Then I tied a double-loop Linen Thread bow and adhered that with Liquid Glue.

 

On a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, I stamped a Scalloped Blooms (available now in the Sep-Dec 2026 Catalog) sentiment in Blackberry Bliss ink.

I cut out the sentiment with the largest Stylish Shapes banner die.

 

I adhered the sentiment over the bow with double-stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Then I added five Golden Glow Painted Patch Adhesive-backed Dots and the card front was done.

On the inside, I stamped a second Scalloped Blooms sentiment in Blackberry Bliss ink on a Very Vanilla panel.  In the corner I added the Notes of Collage images in Golden Glow, Lost Lagoon and Petal Pink.  Then I added a few more Golden Glow Painted Patch Adhesive-backed Dots.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of my Blackberry Bliss card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Notes of Collage stamps on the front…

…and more of the Autumn Opulence Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I really like the various collage-i-fying images in the Notes of Collage stamp set – and the bundle die set will cut them out PLUS give you a few other die cut shapes to play with!  Scalloped Blooms offers pretty sentiments – and is perfect for using with a set like Notes of Collage!  Obviously – there’s not a lot to NOT like about the gorgeous Fall-themed Autumn Opulence Specialty DSP, right?!  Oh – not sure that you can see the wonderful texture on the Textured Canvas Specialty Paper – but…it’s very cool.  And it stamps beautifully!!
