Krew Team Retreat 2026 Was Amazing!

Happy Tuesday, y’all!

Well – our 2026 Krew Retreat is in the books!  I can SEE the saddle and am slowly climbing back into it and getting back in the swing of things here at home!

I mean – cooking.

Every day!

THREE times! 😳

I miss James!

And I miss our fun ladies!  This year – we had two sessions again – and both sessions were amazing! We all laughed and ate and crafted and rested.  And some of us even had massages!  All in all – it was a wonderful 10 days or so.  Amy and I are VERY blessed with the opportunity to attend BOTH sessions!!

When we arrived on that first Thursday – everyone nested into their crafting spots.  The Crafty Elk Lodge has all the tables, the chairs, the rolling carts – and…look at those cool (new!!) overhead lights!

Those lights are amazing – we didn’t even need to use the Ott Lights that James has at each table.  Not even this old lady!  Thanks, James!

One of the huge pieces of the retreat is always the amazing food – and James didn’t disappoint!

James set out a spread three times a day and…like clockwork…we showed up!

If you feed them, they will come! 😉

Dinner time is always about the food AND the fellowship!  The trick at these meals is to assess the conversation and then strategically take a bite or a drink when the likelihood of someone making you snort-laugh seems to be low!

Lots of us were missing our fur kids back at home – but…Poe…

…stepped in to make us feel better!

Our second session was smaller and very relaxing!

…and ate and even made a trip up to Mercier Orchards in Blue Ridge!

One thing that was a little different this year was the amazing party they threw for me on Saturday to celebrate hitting $1M in sales!

I was…gobsmacked!

I was the recipient of so many wonderful cards and gifts and…love.  It was amazing!  If you’d like to see the post I did about that day – check it right here!

As we’ve done each year, we each brought a “shoebox swap” to share.  We all created a card, cut up kits and brought the supplies so that everyone else could make one for themselves!

Yep.  We’ve got a crafty and talented group!  All the cards are amazeballs!

As with all good things – the final day dawned and we all went our separate ways.  But – we knew it was “for now” not “for good”!

We’re not going back to Crafty Elk Lodge in 2027 – INSTEAD –  Stampin’ UP! is holding a virtual Demonstrator Event and we’re all going to converge in Nashville to have our own Watch Party!! Buckle up, Nashville!

And – we’ve already got our 2028 dates booked at James’ place!  Whoo-hoo!

Thanks to ALL the Krew folk who came and helped to make this a super fun time – once again!
