Good morning, y’all It’s Thursday, which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We’ve got a sketch challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table. I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!
For today’s card for a friend, I reached back a little to one of my fave suites – the Moonlit Flora suite and used some of the gorgeous DSP and the coordinating Fern & Flora bundle. AND – a little Swiss Dots hot foiling in….PINK! Take a look-see:

I also pulled some elements from the Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge. I went across the bottom – Die cut/punch – Patterned Paper – Bright Colors!
I started by adhering a 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ piece of Moonlit Flora DSP on Berry Burst for the card front.
I used the Stampin’ Hot Foil System and the Swiss Dots Hot Foil Die to hot foil in Light Pink on the dark side of a 1 1/2″ x 3 7/8″ piece of Secret Sea Two-tone Cardstock and adhere it with Liquid Glue.
I cut a 3 1/8″ x 4 3/8″ piece of the DSP – with the white moth taking centerstage – and matted it on Berry Burst. Then I adhered that to the middle of the card front with Liquid Glue.
Using two Fern & Flora dies, I cut out a couple of leaves from 2026-2028 In Color Pearlized Paper – one in Golden Glow and the second in Peaceful Pine.
I adhered the leaves to the card front using Liquid Glue.
I tied a bow from two lengths of white Baker’s Twine and adhered it with a little Liquid Glue. From another piece of the Moonlit Flora DSP, I used my Detail Scissors to cut out the large white moth.
I adhered it over the bow with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped a Fern & Flora sentiment in Peaceful Pine ink then added the frame image in Berry Burst.
I used the coordinating die in the set to cut it out and adhered it with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added some Secret Sea and clear Dewdrops Embellishments and the card front was done.
On the inside, I stamped a second Fern & Flora sentiment in Peaceful Pine ink on a Basic White panel. In the corner I stamped a large fern in Golden Glow – and a few moths in Berry Burst ink.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of my Secret Sea card base, popped the card front on with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Fern & Flora fern and butterflies on the front…
…and more of the Moonlit Flora DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Well – is it any wonder that this whole Suite – with its Moonlit Flora DSP, the coordinating Fern & Flora bundle AND the Dewdrops Embellishments is a fave – of mine AND of y’all!? No. Not it is not a wonder at all!! The colors – the images – the die cuts – the sentiments. ALL wunnermus!
