Good morning on the final day of the work-week! Hope you have a good one AND a good weekend ahead of you!
Well – for today’s card I finally broke down and let myself pull out the new Frosted Pinecones Bundle – new in the Sep-Dec 2026 Catalog and available now to demonstrators (existing or JOINING!) and to customers on 1 Sept! I added it to a piece of plaid A Stitched Season DSP to make a pretty card to wish someone well! Take a look-see:
I know! Such a beautiful set!
I started by adhering a 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ piece of A Stitched Season DSP to a Pecan Pie mat for the card front.
On a piece of Basic Beige cardstock, I stamped the large image from the Frosted Pinecones set (available on 1 Sept) in Peaceful Pine ink.
Using the masks that come in the bundle – and Small Blending Brushes – to add color to the image.
– Mask 1 – Pecan Pie
– Mask 2 – Pecan Pie + a little Early Espresso
– Mask 3 – Pecan Pie + a little Early Espresso
– Mask 4 – Peaceful Pine
With the 5th and final mask, I used a Palette Knife (okay – it was the handle of a plastic spoon but…don’t be like me! Get a set of Palette Knives!!) to add Shimmery White Embossing Paste (aka snow!) to the pinecone and pine needles.
I let the Shimmery Embossing Paste dry really well and then cut out the image with the large die from the Frosted Pinecones die set. Then I adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Using the dies in the Frosted Pinecones set, I cut out three pine boughs – 2 large and 1 small – from a piece of Peaceful Pine 2026-2028 In Color Pearlized Paper. With my White Gel Pen – I added “snow” to each of the pine needles.
I cut out just the detailed small pinecone from a piece of Pecan Pie cardstock.
Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the die cut pinecone to the pinecone on the card front. Then I tucked the three pine boughs in using Liquid Glue to secure them.
I tied a double-loop Linen Thread bow and adhered it with a scrunched up Mini Glue Dot.
On a piece of Basic Beige cardstock, I stamped a Frosted Pinecones sentiment in Early Espresso ink and cut it out with a Stylish Shapes banner die.
I adhered the sentiment over the bow with double-stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added six clear snowflakes from the new Adhesive-backed Snowflakes (part of the Alpine Winter suite in the Sept 2026 Online Exclusives coming on 1 Sept) and the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped a second Frosted Pinecones sentiment in Peaceful Pine ink on a Basic Beige panel. In the corner, I stamped the top of the large pinecone image in Peaceful Pine. I added Pecan Pie and Early Espresso ink using Masks 1 – 3!
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Peaceful Pine card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Frosted Pinecones image on the front…
…and more A Stitched Season DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Well – I love the A Stitched Season DSP – especially this Peaceful Pine plaid – don’t you?! But – that love pales in comparison to how I feel about this new Frosted Pinecones bundle! I mean…seriously!? I see not one thing to NOT love. Pinecones – check! Great seasonal sentiments – check! Die cut pine boughs – CHECK! Masks to color the whole lot – check. And…a mask to add snow with Shimmery Embossing Paste – check check and CHECK!
I hope you like! And I KNOW you’ve already added the Frosted Pinecones bundle to your list for 1 Sept!! Whoo-hoo!

2026 BACK TO SCHOOL SALES TAX HOLIDAYS!
Thirteen states – plus Puerto Rico! – will have Sales Tax Holidays for school supplies in July and August and some Stampin’ Up! items qualify for the tax break in those states! According to state statutes, “items normally used by students in a standard classroom for educational purposes” are eligible. And – this includes select Stampin’ Up! products! BOOM!
The states with upcoming tax holidays are: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts**, Missouri, New Mexico, Ohio**, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia and Puerto Rico. So, if you live in one of those states or Puerto Rico, take a second to download the sheet below and mark your calendar! NOTE: The table on the left shows the states, their dates, and the limit. The right-hand table shows the SU! Items that qualify! And yes – ALL the Stampin’ Dimensionals qualify!! 😎
**MA & OH Special Note: Unlike the other participating states, Massachusetts and Ohio are not limited to the products listed in this document. Additional current Stampin’ Up! products may qualify based on each state’s exemption rules and price limits. (MA limit: $2,500 per item; OH limit: $20 per item.)
How Exemption Limits Work: Sales tax will not be applied to qualifying items priced at or below the exemption limit specified for each state. There is no limit to the quantity of qualifying items that may be purchased, provided each individual item does not exceed the applicable state limit.
Please note: You have to place your order with Stampin’ Up! DURING the tax holiday period in your state in order to receive these items tax-free (so – that’s from MIDNIGHT local time on the first day to MIDNIGHT local time on the last day of the tax holiday). Also, keep in mind that this is a STATE SALES TAX holiday and the state statute may not apply to county, city, and special jurisdiction taxes.
For those wondering about Georgia, Louisiana, New Jersey and Wisconsin, those states will NOT have the sales tax holiday this year. Whaawaaaaa…. 🙁
If you’re in one of the thirteen states or Puerto Rico – happy tax-saving!
