Stampin’ Up! Simply Leaves & Seasonal Cheer Sneak Peek Thank You With Video

Happy FriYAY, y’all! Today we’re porting in Juneau – and going on a floatplane trip around the glaciers!  And – maybe?! – get some King Crab Legs, too! BOOYAH!! I hope YOUR day will be as awesome!

Today’s card is a sneak peek at one of a couple of gorgeous new goodies coming soon to you (1 July) in the July Online Exclusives.  It’s the Simply Leaves bundle – and it is a PUNCH bundle!  I added some embossing from the new Seasonal Cheer Mini Embossing Folders. I pulled it all together to make a pretty thank you card.  Take a look-see:

I started by stamping all over the front of my Blackberry Bliss card base with the stitched veins image from Simply Leaves (available 1 July) in Blacberry Bliss ink.  It’s hard to see but…it’s there!

Next, I used the edge of my opened Detailed Scissors (yes!  These are ALSO coming NEW on 1 July in the Online Exclusives!) to “scrape” the edges of the  3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Blackberry Bliss Two-Toned cardstock.card.

Then, I embossed the panel in the leaves-strewn folder from the new Seasonal Cheer Mini Embossing Folders (you’ll get three folders when you order them in July – one with these leaves, one with bats and stars and one with candy canes!).

I used Black Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the embossed panel to the front of the Blackberry Bliss card base.

On a 3/4″ x 3 3/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the Simply Leaves sentiment in Blackberry Bliss ink.  Using Liquid Glue, I adhered a narrow 1/2″ x 3 3/4″ piece of Earthen Toned Metallic Paper to the bottom of the sentiment leaving about 1/4″ piece showing below the bottom of the sentiment.

Using the bundled Simple Leaf Punch, I cut out four leaves from a piece of Golden Glow 2026-2028 In Color Gingham Gallery DSP (also part of the new Online Exclusives available on 1 July).  On each leaf, I stamped the Simply Leaves stitched vein in Blackberry Bliss ink.

I adhered the top leaf with Liquid Glue.  Then I tied a Double-Loop Linen Thread Bow and adhered it with a Glue Dot.

I added the remaining leaves with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals – double-stacking them where necessary!

Finally, I added five Golden Glow 2026-2028 In Color Dots and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped a second Simply Leaves sentiment in Blackberry Bliss ink on a Basic White panel.  Then I added the small plaid leaf three times in Golden Glow ink.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of my Blackberry Bliss card base and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Simply Leaves stitched vein image a few times in Blackberry Bliss ink on the front…

…and more Golden Glow 2026-2028 In Color Gingham Gallery DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila! Oh my – this is one y’all are going to love so much!  The Simply Leaves bundle has sweet images and great sentiments – and that amazing Simple Leaf Punch!  Boom!  And the three great folders in the Seasonal Cheer Mini Embossing Folders (they’ll work in your Mini Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, too!) are too fun – I love how the embossed brought out the white center-core of the Two-toned Cardstock! And amy DSP that has “gingham” in the NAME  – like the new 2026-2028 In Color Gingham Gallery DSP is already a winner in my book!! 😉
