Good morning and happy happy HAWWWMP DAY!! Whoo-hoo! Hope you’re having a wonderful FALL-ISH week! Our weather has been just wonderful – have had the house open for days!! I love it!
My card today has some beautiful – Fall-ish? – paper from the Painterly Pears DSP – cut with the Just a Note dies – all Online Exclusives! I used them to make a fun birthday card. Take a look-see:
I started this one by embossing a Basic White panel in the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the panel to the front of a Mossy Meadow card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I used the fun “notebook page” die from the Just a Note die set to cut three “pages” from Painterly Pears DSP. Two from a floral print and one from the Darling Duckling grid paper.
Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the three die cuts to the card front – “fanning” them a bit.
I die cut a Just a Note heart paper clip from Petal Pink cardstock and used a little Liquid Glue to adhere (“clip”) it to the top right corner of the bottom page.
I cut out another page from Basic White cardstock. I used the lines image from Just a Note to stamp lines on the page in Darling Duckling ink.
Then I stamped “Happy Birthday” from Layered Thoughts in Secret Sea ink and “to” and “you” in Mossy Meadow. Then I popped the “page” onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I cut out a paper clip with the Just a Note set from Darling Duckling cardstock. It’s adhered with Liquid Glue – positioning it so that it looks like it’s securing the four pages together at the corners.
I tied a small bow from white Baker’s Twine and adhered it to the paper clip with a little bit of Liquid Glue.
I cut a few more little hearts – with the Just a Note die – one from Mossy Meadow and two from Petal Pink cardstocks. They’re adhered with Liquid Glue and/or Stampin’ Dimensionals – and the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped “Love” from Layered Thoughts in Secret Sea on a Basic White panel. Then I stamped “You” in Mossy Meadow – and added some Just a Note stars in Petal Pink ink.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Mossy Meadow card base and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Just a Note stars on the front…
…and more of the Painterly Pears DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Such a fun way to send Happy Birthday wishes, right?! The Layered Thoughts stamp set is really fun – I like the mix-and-match sentiments, don’t you? 🙂 The Just a Note bundle is amazing – for scrapbooking OR card making. I think that “page” die is just the cutest!
