Stampin’ UP! Torn Front Perfectly Painterly Pears Thank You with Video

Well – we made it to Friday again! It’s also the last day of the Two-Tone Cardstock Sale!

I know there are people and animal in Texas and New Mexico and North Carolina who are NOT excited about a weekend (or a cardstock sale!) – and my heart is so sad for all of them.  I’m doing another fundraiser – this one for the folks in Texas.  You can get the deets down below and then…I hope you’ll help me send our support!! 🙁

So – on to something less sad – a pretty Thank You card featuring the Perfectly Pears bundle and gorgeous Painterly Pears DSP.  Take a look-see:

I played along with The Paper Players challenge this week.

Now – technically, I suppose, this is a fun fold.  I feel a little…weird?…calling it that but…it’s not quite a “regular” card.  Why?  Cuz…I tore off about 1 1/4″ from the right edge of my Mossy Meadow card base.  That made a little peek of some Painterly Pears DSP from the inside panel show when the card is closed!!

For the front, I matted a second design of the DSP on Petal Pink cardstock and adhered it to the front panel.

I used the largest Stylish Shapes circle die to cut out a Petal Pink circle and then embossed it in the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder.  I used Liquid Glue to adhere it to the right side of the front panel.

For the collage – I cut out several images from the Painterly Pears DSP using the Perfectly Pears Dies.  I cut out three pears – three stems/leaves – and three clusters of pink flowers. 😊  I also cut out two Basic Beige cardstock “hash marks” using the die in the set.

I used a Sponge Dauber to add a little Flirty Flamingo ink to each of the pears.  Then I adhered the stems/leaves to the tops of the pears with Liquid Glue.

I adhered two pears and the top-most flower cluster to the die cut circle on the card front with Liquid Glue.  I tucked the Basic Beige die cut hashmarks into the collage – adhering them with a little Liquid Glue.

I frayed the ends of two lengths of Petal Pink 5/16″ Braided Trim and adhered them with Stampin’ Seal +.

I used double-stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the third pear over the braided trim.

On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the Perfectly Pears sentiment in Secret Sea ink and cut it out with a Stylish Shapes banner die.  I adhered it with double-stacked Dimensionals under the right end and a single Dimensional on the left end.

I tucked the bottom-right flower cluster under the sentiment and pear – adhering it with Liquid Glue.  Then I added the final cluster on the left with a Stampin’ Dimensional and a little glue.

I added five Secret Sea 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls and the card front was done!

For the inside, I adhered a strip of Painterly Pears DSP to the right edge of a Basic White panel.  I stamped a sentiment in Secret Sea.  In the bottom left corner, I stamped the Perfectly Pears pear and stem/leaves outlines and fills in Old Olive ink.  Using Sponge Daubers, I added Darling Duckling and Flirty Flamingo to the pear to give it a little more pizzazz!

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Petal Pink mat and into the card base – and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Perfectly Pears image – don’t forget the Darling Duckling and Flirty Flamingo shading – on the front…

…and my fave design from Painterly Pears DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Wow – this just makes me love Painterly Pears DSP even MORE – I didn’t think that was possible.  I love the designs – they’re stunning – and the ability to cut out images with the Perfectly Pears dies!  They’re really, truly…perfectly PAIRED! 😉

Finn Fan Fix

We all watched Star Trek the other day.

The first one with Chris Pine as Capt Kirk.  One of my faves ever!

I think it was Addy’s first time.

Finn’s seen it a BUNCH of times but…he’s still  riveted!

Pretty sure he love James T as much as I do!  😉
