Stampin’ UP! Impressions Abloom Thank You for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all!  It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table.  I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

Our sketch was perfect for some flowers from the Impressions Abloom bundle – accompanied by the pretty coordinating Floral Impressions DSP! I pulled it all together to make a thank you card.  Take a look-see:

And – here’s our sketch!

I also pulled some elements from this week’s Tic-Tac-Toe challenge! I went down the right column (die cuts – patterned paper – enamel dots).

I started by adhering some bright paper from Floral Impressions DSP on a Garden Green mat with Liquid Glue.

I cut out an oval – using the Impressions Abloom die – from a grid-covered piece of Floral Impressions DSP – and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.

For the frame – I used the same oval die in the set – to cut out a Garden Green frame (you’ll also have an oval – but…all you want for this card is the frame that’s “inside” the die) and adhered it around the oval on the card front with Liquid Glue.

At this point, I added some gold Metallic Textures Rub-ons – some splatter dots – and one large leaf.  I LOVE these things! 🙂

Then I got busy die cutting flowers and leaves using the Impressions Abloom dies.

– Two Basic White flowers – a large and a small.

– One Pretty in Pink flower.

– Three Peach Pie flowers – one of the large ones and two smalls.

– Three flower centers from the Floral Impressions DSP grid design (the same that I used on the oval).

– Five Garden Green leaves – two large and three smaller (these are the ones with the outline die AND an embossing die that goes inside).

I adhered the leaves and Peach Pie flowers to the card front with Liquid Glue.  I added the flower centers with Liquid Glue and then adhered the flowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Then I tied a bow from two lengths of white Baker’s Twine and adhered it with Liquid Glue.

On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the Impressions Abloom sentiment in Garden Green ink.  Then I used Paper Snips to cut out the sentiment.

I adhered it over the bow and flowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Some Pretty in Pink gems from the Strawberry Slush & Pretty in Pink Gems pack finished off the card front.

For the inside, I stamped a second sentiment in Garden Green and then added the flower – and center – in Daffodil Delight!

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Impressions Abloom flower on the front…

…and more of the Floral Impressions DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I love love love this Floral Impressions Suite, don’t you?! The Floral Impressions DSP is…simply stunning (and this might be my fave design in the pack – those bright, cheerful flowers just make me smile!).  Add the coordinating Impressions Abloom bundle and… you’ve got a paper garden ready to grow!  And – not for nuthin’ – this Online Exclusive Suite is eligible for the Buy One Get One 50% Off Suite sale going on thru the end of the month!  Yeah!
