Stampin’ Up! Maritime Moments & Welcoming Garden Kits!

Happy Happy Hawmmmp Day, y’all!  Hope your week is going well!  After the flurry of getting ready to leave – we’re headed to OnStage!  Whoo-hoo!  Can’t wait to get there and see everyone!

When our new March kits dropped last week, I quick grabbed one of each and then got them put together.  Y’all – they are GORGEOUS and you’re going to want them for sure! 🙂

First up, check out the Maritime Moments kit!  This one is all about cards for the guys – but the soft colors and sentiments will also be great for women and kids!

Everything’s in the box – including pre-printed sentiments in Dutch, English, French, and German.  There are sailboats and anchors – and linen thread, too!  There are six cards – two each in three designs.  Soft colors in Balmy Blue, Cajun Craze, Garden Green, Granny Apple Green, Gray Granite, Night of Navy, Pecan Pie, Pool Party bring the seaside onto each card!

There’s a Gray Granite Ink Spot and the exclusive Maritime Moments stamp set.

The first design features a lighthouse – that you stamp onto the pre-printed card base in Gray Granite ink.  I really like the strip of Night of Navy plaid!

On the inside – and on all the envelopes! – I stamped the lighthouse again – and the seagulls image!

The envelope flap insides are color coordinated to their corresponding cards!

The second design moves to a Cajun Craze card base – and features a die cut anchor – complete with Linen Thread line! For this one, you’ll stamp the sea grasses image (under the pre-printed sentiment) and the smaller sailboat in Gray Granite.

For this one – I stamped the sailboat on the inside – and the envelope has a Cajun Craze envelope insides!

The final design has the cutest pelican – standing on a piling.  When you assemble this one, you’ll wrap some Linen Thread around the piling – I love that extra little touch!

I stamped the birds on the inside – and you can see the Pool Party coordination on the envelope flap.

I love how quick and easy this was to put together!

The second kit – the Welcoming Garden Kit – is just stunning!  Featuring precut, colorful flowers and unique garden gates, this all-inclusive kit is perfect for crafting a heartfelt thank-you card or a note to say a friendly hello.

In this kit – which features sentiments and images to stamp, plus pre-printed sentiment die cuts – you get a Crumb Cake Classic Ink Spot and the pretty Welcoming Garden stamp set!  But the rest of the colors – Basic Black, Berry Burst, Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight, Garden Green, Granny Apple Green, Gray Granite, Highland Heather, Lemon Lime Twist, Pecan Pie, Pool Party – will bring a cottage garden right into your craft room and then to your lucky recipient’s mailbox!

The kit makes nine cards – three each in three designs (and one is a fun fold!).

This first design is the fun fold card – and I made it first.  So…it was my fave (I thought!)!  The tri-fold design with the garden gate – is just gorgeous and so fun.  The flowers and the birdhouse pop on with Mini Dimensionals.

The second design ALSO has “moving” parts – the garden gate opens to reveal a second sentiment!  For this one – you’re going to stamp the picket fence image on pre-printed pieces that look like a fence.  Tip:  don’t pull all the die cut pieces out of their pages – leave them in until you’ve stamped the images.  Much easier!

The final design is the least “kinetic” but…it’s still just as beautiful – with its climbing, flowering vine on a wrought iron fence.  Again – the flowers are all popped on with the Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals!

All the envelopes are the same – with pretty flowers pre-printed on the front!

Once again – Stampin’ UP! has upped their “kit-game” again and I am LOVING this latest offering! Hope you do, too!

CARDSTOCK PRICE CHANGES COMING SOON

Stampin’ Up! shared this with us yesterday so I wanted to pass it along!

In light of steadily increasing production costs, we’ve made a few updates to our cardstock offerings.

WHY THE CHANGE?
Over the years, Stampin’ Up! has worked diligently to manage rising costs while balancing high-quality standards and remaining competitive in the market. The costs for raw materials and production have continued to climb, and only a select few mills around the world are qualified to produce our heavyweight, dyed-through cardstock, ensuring it meets our color and quality standards.

WHAT’S CHANGING?

• 8-1/2″ x 11″ cardstock:
  • All single-color cardstock packages will now contain 24 sheets (including Basic White and Very Vanilla).
  • Assortments will contain 20 sheets.
  • Prices will be $14 for both single-color and assortment packs.
  • 8-1/2″ x 11″ Thick Basic Cardstock will be discontinued, Thick Basic White Cardstock will be available in 12″ x 12″ packs beginning with the new Annual Catalog in early May.
• 12″ x 12″ cardstock:
  • Our heavyweight, dyed-through cardstock and Basic White Thick Cardstock packages will contain 24 sheets.
  • 12″ x 12″ dyed cardstock will be $22.
  • 12″ x 12″ Basic White Thick Cardstock will be $26
  • We’re also expanding our 12″ x 12″ offerings with Two-Tone cardstock available in single-color packages in all colors.
  • Stampin’ Up! has reevaluated their decision to discontinue 8½”x11” Thick Basic White Cardstock. WHOO-HOO!  They’ll ALSO keep the newly announced Basic White 12”x12” Thick Cardstock to support those who focus on 3D projects or simply prefer the larger format.
    • • The item will be available in the Online Store, not the 2025-2026 Annual Catalog.
      • The item numbers and sheet quantity per package (24) will remain the same.
      • Beginning 6 May 2025, the price for the 24-sheet pack of Thick Basic White cardstock will be $17.00, which differs from any other cardstock of this size that we offer.

• Other Product Updates:
  • Pricing and configuration for our 12″ x 12″ Two-Tone cardstocks and White Willow 12″ x 12″ Cardstock remain unchanged.
  • In addition to the changes mentioned above, you will notice a handful of other price increases, which are typical in a new catalog.
