Stampin’ Up! Grow With Love on My Mind Sneak Peek for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all!  It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table.  I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

I pulled out a pretty, garden-themed bundle – new on 7 Jan 2025 in the Online Exclusive section of out Online Store – called the Grow With Love bundle!  It’s got some pretty sentiments and herbs.  I love herb images, don’t you?!  And the bundled die set cuts them – PLUS a fun envelope! – right out for you! Take a look-see:

And – here’s that sketch we used!

I started with a Crumb Cake panel and – in two corners – stamped all of the Grow With Love herb images.  Yes – I used them all!

In the bottom left corner, I stamped the Rosemary in Mossy Meadow ink, the Basil in Garden Green, Mint in Granny Apple Green and the Thyme in Pretty Peacock inks. Those were the one I chose – but…you could mix and match any greens you like!

In the top right corner – I only used the Rosemary and Thyme (where’s the parsley and sage, anyway?!)!

Then I matted the panel on a piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock for the card front.

I tied a double-loop Linen Thread bow (a Farrah Fawcett bow) and adhered it with a Glue Dot.  Want to see how to tie that bow!?  Here’s a link to a short video – that I did in “real time” – on how to do it! Enjoy!

On another piece of Crumb Cake cardstock, I stamped the Grow With Love sentiment in Versamark Ink and sprinkled it with Copper Embossing Powder.  Then I heat set the powder with the Heat Tool on the high setting.

Once the embossing powder had cooled, I used the label die from the bundled Grow With Love die set to cut it out.  Then I adhered it over the Linen Thread bow using double-stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added a single Earth Tone Shimmer Gem – and three dragonflies from the Adhesive-backed Dragonflies & Birds pack – and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped the corner of a Crumb Cake panel with the Grow With Love herbs in Garden Green, Pretty Peacock and Granny Apple Green. And – sheesh! – I realize that I didn’t put a little dragonfly flitting about the herbs.  Don’t be like me.  PUT A DRAGONFLY on there!!  PLEASE!

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of my Crumb Cake card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Granny Apple Green, Pretty Peacock and Garden Green herbs on the front…

..and a sprig of Rosemary in Pretty Peacock on the envelope flap.

Et Voila! Each of the Grow With Love images has the name of the herb below its sprig – I just didn’t include them on this card.  Easy enough to NOT ink them if you don’t want them!  But – they’d sure be cute gracing the front of a fun little envelope – which is one of the dies in the bundled Grow With Love die set!  Love it!
