Now. Y’all know I’m in Colorado and will be here until…I just don’t know when. So – for the next little while, you’re going to see cards that I didn’t actually make. I’m going to share cards from our retreat – including the how-to’s. And – for today – I have a card that my friend Judy Hartbarger – and fellow Critter!! – made SPECIFICALLY so I’d have a card to share with you.
How. Cool. Is. That?! Thank you, my friend!
The gorgeous card she made is a front-flap fun fold card using Regal Winter DSP and some Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder! A sentiment from Unbounded Love turned it into a birthday card! Take a look-see:
And – here’s how to put it together!
– Start by embossing a 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ piece of Basic White cardstock in the Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder.
– Use Liquid Glue to adhere the embossed panel to the 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ Night of Navy card base.
– Score and fold a 3 1/4″ x 8 1/2″ piece of Night of Navy cardstock at 4 1/4″ to make the front flap card.
– Use Liquid Glue to adhere a 3 1/8″ x 4 1/8″ piece of Regal Winter DSP to the front of the front flap card.
– Stamp the Happy Birthday sentiment from Unbounded Love on a piece of Basic White cardstock.
– Use an Unbounded Love label die to cut out the sentiment.
– Tie a length of Silver & White 1/2″ Sheer Ribbon around front flap and tie a bow.
– Adhere the sentiment over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
– Add three Night of Navy Opal Rounds to finish off the front of the front flap card.
– Stamp the Unbounded Love sentiment in Night of Navy ink on the 3 1/8″ x 4 1/8″ piece of Basic White cardstock.
– Use Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the front flap card.
– Use Liquid Glue to adhere a 3/4″ x 3 1/8″ piece of Regal Winter DSP to bottom of the inner liner.
– Use Liquid Glue to adhere the front flap card to the center of the card base – aligning the top and bottom edges.
– Use Liquid Glue to adhere the 2 1/4″ x 6″ piece of Adhere piece Regal Winter DSP to the envelope flap and trim the excess with your Paper Snips!
Et Voila! Isn’t this gorgeous!? The Regal Winter DSP is so rich and…dare I say….REGAL!? And – as Judy very-rightly said when she sent it over to me – people who have December birthdays sometimes get the short-end-of-the-stick in the celebration department! But a card like this one – with Layered Florals embossing and a sentiment label from the Unbounded Love bundle – is the perfect way to make EVERYONE feel special!

I feel like it’s been pretty well established that Finn leads a pretty rough life.
Dry dog food instead of a carefully prepared “raw” diet.
A “cage” at night.
A “shock” collar when he’s outside.
No pettings. No nose kisses. No treats. No peppermints. No lap time. No toys whatsoever.
So…I wanted to show a quick video that really explains his lot in life.
Forced to lay in the bedroom, with a fan aimed right at him.
