Stampin’ Up! Snowy Season’s Greetings Christmas Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all!  It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a color challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table.  I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

The colors said “USE SNOWY SCENES DSP”!  Actually YELLED it, apparently!  So – I did.  And I paired it with the Snowy Wonder bundle to make a sweet and easy Christmas card for you today.  Take a look-see:

And here’s that opinionated color challenge!

I started by adhering a piece of the Snowy Wonder DSP to a Poppy Parade mat using Liquid Glue for the card front.

Using the largest Stylish Shapes square die, I cut out a piece of the Snowy Wonder DSP in Petal Pink and adhered it as a diamond with more Liquid Glue.

On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped two tall and one short Snowy Wonder mountain in Pool Party ink and cut them out with the coordinating dies in the Snowy Wonder set.  I adhered them to the card front with Liquid Glue.

I used the dies in the set to cut out a couple of pine trees and one of the cute little snowmen in the Snowy Scenes DSP.

On a piece of Basic White, I stamped the house from Snowy Wonder in Early Espresso ink and cut it out with the coordinating die.  I colored the door with the Light Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blend – and the windows with the Light Daffodil Delight Blend.

I adhered a small die cut pine tree and the cabin with Liquid Glue – and then adhered the large tree over the top with more Liquid Glue.

The snowman got the top of his head cut off when I die cut him (the die doesn’t include the hat that the DSP snowmen wear) so…I stamped the top hat from the Snowy Wonder set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and cut it out with the die in the set.  I adhered it to the top of the snowman with Liquid Glue – and then adhered the whole thing with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a piece of Basic White, I stamped the Snowy Wonder sentiment in Pumpkin Pie ink.  I matted it on Poppy Parade and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped a few holly sprigs in Garden Green ink on Basic White, cut them out with the die in the set and adhered them to the sentiment with a little Liquid Glue.

Using the Dark Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends, I colored a few clear Cherry Cobbler & Pearl Adhesive-backed Berries and added them – on the holly and his hat – and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped the Snowy Wonder holly in Garden Green and the berries in Poppy Parade in two corners of a Basic White panel.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of my Pumpkin Pie card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the holly and berries on the front…

…and more Snowy Scenes DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila! This has become one of my very favorite suites!  From the Snowy Scenes DSP – with all the pretty designs AND the images that you can cut out with the Snowy Wonder Dies – and the bundled Snowy Wonder stamp set with ITS fun sentiments and images – it’s really a go-to for all your Christmas projects!
