Stampin’ Up! Decorative Trees Take a Bow Sneak Peek Card

Happy Happy Hawwwmp Day, y’all!  To celebrate the middle of the week – the cresting of the hill – the mounting of the summit – I am going to…the Dentist!!  Whoo-hoo!  I mean – who among us does NOT celebrate by going to the dentist. 🤷‍♀️ It’s just a cleaning but…I think I have a tooth that maybe cracked.  Maybe.  So – that could end up being a PITA!

But – I’m not going to think about that right. now – fiddlydeedee!  Instead – I’ll think about Christmas!  And I’ll do it with this sneak peek of the Decorative Trees bundle and some festive Take a Bow 6″ x 6″ DSP.  And a few other little goodies that are coming soon in the Sep-Dec 2024 Mini catalog – ONE WEEK FROM TODAY! Whoo-hoo!  Take a look-see:

I started by adhering two pieces of the Take a Bow 6″ x 6″ DSP – one with leaves and berries and the second with “snow” on a Garden Green field – to Real Red cardstock mats using Liquid Glue.

I adhered the smaller matted panel to the larger with Stampin’ Dimensionals to create the card front.

For the trees, I adhered some Basic White cardstock to Adhesive-Sheets and then cut three of the little filigree “trees” using the die in the Decorative Trees die set.

I peeled off the backing from the Adhesive Sheets and adhered the trees to the card front.  Tip: place the middle tree first – centering it on the small panel.  Then add the second and third trees.  That’ll help you get them evenly spaced.

I “decorated” the trees with new Real Red & White Adhesive-backed Peppermints (coming in the new catalog on 4 Sept).

I tied a simple bow with new Real Red & White Baker’s Twine and adhered it with a Glue Dot.

On a narrow strip of Crumb Cake cardstock, I stamped the Decorative Trees sentiment in Real Red ink.

I adhered the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card front was done.

On the inside, I stamped a second Decorative Trees sentiment in Real Red and the little holly and leaves image in Garden Green on a Basic White panel.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of my Crumb Cake card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Decorative Trees holly-and-leaves in Garden Green on the front…

…and more of the Take A Bow 6″ x 6″ DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Decorative Trees is a bit of a sleeper – but..it shouldn’t be!  It’s got the cutest tree dies – with plenty of “decorations” to add and many options for “building” all sorts of trees! Not to mention fun, seasonal sentiments!  I think you need to give it a look for your Christmas cards! Crumb Cake Cardstock: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ (card base, scored and folded at 4 1/4″); 3/8″ x 2 3/4″ (sentiment)
