Good morning, y’all! It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We’ve got a color challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table. I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!
When I saw our challenge – I decided to go with the Mediterranean Blooms DSP – it was sort of obvious – but…then I pulled out the new Labeled With Love stamp set – and the coordinating punch – to go along with it and make a fun Thank You card! Take a look-see:
And here’s our pretty-obvious color challenge! 🤷♀️
I started by adhering a flowery piece of Mediterranean Blooms DSP to the front of my Daffodil Delight card base using Liquid Glue.
Next, I matted a piece of Night of Navy Mediterranean Blooms DSP on a Balmy Blue mat and adhered it to the front of the card base with Liquid Glue.
On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the frame image from Labeled With Love four times in Pumpkin Pie ink. Thank I stamped the stems/leaves image in each frame in Garden Green ink. I finished the florals with the second step – the flowers – in Daffodil Delight ink.
Then using the Labeled With Love Punch – I cut them all out. Note: this is a fun bundle – one of two in the new catalog like it – where you can select a PUNCH bundle OR a DIE bundle! I picked the die bundle – but I ALSO bought the punch along with. The other bundle like this is called Keeping Tabs!
AND – the DIE BUNDLE versions will be available in the upcoming Stamp-And-Die Bundle sale starting on 5 Jun! Whoo-hoo!
I adhered the four punched images to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock, I stamped the Labeled With Love sentiment in Night of Navy ink. I cut it out with a Stylish Shapes label die and adhered it with Liquid Glue.
I tied a simple bow from yellow twine (from the Baker’s Twine Three-Color Pack) and adhered it with a dab of Liquid Glue.
I stamped the Labeled With Love butterfly on Basic White cardstock in Pumpkin Pie ink. Then I colored it with my Light Daffodil Delight and both Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends. I added some little Night of Navy dots with a Stampin’ Write Marker.
Then – I used Paper Snips to cut him out and adhered him over the bow with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added some Garden Green Adhesive-backed Dots for Days and the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped and colored the Labeled With Love butterfly on a Basic White panel.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel inside the Daffodil Delight card base and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Labeled With Love butterfly on the front…
…and more of the Mediterranean Blooms DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! I love this little Labeled With Love stamp set – the two-step flowers are just a part of its charm! It’s got sweet sentiments and gift boxes, too! And – you can get it with a punch – OR dies – or…do like I did. Buy the die bundle at 20% off (when it goes on sale on 5 Jun) and then buy the punch separately so you have ALL the options! And…the Mediterranean Blooms DSP is…just stunning!
