Stampin’ Up! Sunny Days Filled with Happiness for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all!  It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table.  I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

I pulled out a cute “fly-over” set – that’s what I call stamp sets that I think people tend to miss when they’re looking thru the catalog! – called Filled With Happiness.  And I paired it with the uber-pretty (and FREE!) Sunny Days DSP!  Take a look-see:

And – here’s the sketch we were using!

I started by adhering two pieces of the Sunny Days DSP (available for FREE during Sale-A-Bration with a qualifying $50 order!) to Petal Pink mats using Liquid Glue.

I adhered both matted panels to the card front using Liquid Glue.

On a piece of Basic White, I stamped the Filled With Happiness image in Shaded Spruce ink.

I matted the panel on Petal Pink cardstock and then adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.

On another piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the image again in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.

I colored the image with my Light & Dark Shaded Spruce, Light & Dark Pumpkin Pie, Dark Pool Party and Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends.

Then I used the Modern Oval punch to cut out the image, which I then adhered in place with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added some Pumpkin Pie sequins from the Adhesive-backed Shiny Sequins (these are in the Online Exclusives that will be available to customers on 5 March!) and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped the little leafy image from Filled With Happiness in Shaded Spruce in two corners of a Basic White panel.  I colored it with my Light Shaded Spruce and Dark Daffodil Delight Blends.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Petal Pink mat and then into the Shaded Spruce card base and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Filled With Happiness leafy image on the front…

…and some more of the Sunny Days DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I think this is just a sweet, fun stamp set – and when you combine the Filled With Happiness set with the coordinating Modern Oval Punch, you get some really great sentiment images – and they’re big enough to “carry” the card on their own!  And the Sunny Days DSP is one of my absolute faves – especially that pretty poppy-strewn paper I used here!  It’s so bright and cheery and…wait for it…SUNNY! 😂 And – FREE to boot?!  Yup!
