Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature’s Sweetness Hello Sneak Peek Card

Happy Happy Hawwmp Day, y’all! So – I don’t know about you guys – but I have a really hard time keeping track of the days when there’s a holiday – especially a big one! – on Monday!  I mean – keeping track of days is not easy in REGULAR weeks but – add in a holiday-on-Monday and…I’m a day late the rest of the week!

What I DO remember is that TODAY is your last day to grab those Last Chance Products.  You might say it’s the Last Chance Last Chance! 🤷‍♀️

It’s ALSO the last day before the Jan – Apr 2024 Mini Catalog (and Sale-A-Bration!!) go live for y’all!  Whoo-hoo!  I am kind of assuming that the bundle – nay…the SUITE! – that I’m playing with today is on your list – hopefully near the top!  It’s the Notes of Nature bundle and stunning Nature’s Sweetness Specialty DSP.  Take a look-see:

Stampin' Up! Notes of Nature's Sweetness Hello Sneak Peek Card - Stamps-N-Lingers

This layout is the one that I selected for this week’s Sketch Saturday challenge.

I love the elements of this card – and it’s handy that it’s ALSO easy!

Using the grid, Field Notes and splatter images from the Notes of Nature set, I stamped in Pecan Pie ink all over the front of a Pecan Pie card base.  Everything is full-strength – but I ALSO did a little second-generation stamping with the splatter image.

I selected two designs from the wunnermus Nature’s Sweetness Specialty DSP and matted them on Distressed Gold Specialty Paper.  Then I adhered the first matted panel (the rectangle) to the card front with Liquid Glue.

I popped the matted square on with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from Notes of Nature in Pecan Pie ink on a Basic White strip – matted it on Distressed Gold paper and adhered it with Liquid Glue and a Stampin’ Dimensional.

Using two of the detailed leaf dies in the Notes of Nature die set, I cut out two leaves from Distressed Gold paper and adhered them in the corner with a little Liquid Glue.

I stamped a small piece of Pecan Pie cardstock with the Notes of Nature images in Pecan Pie ink and then used the smallest Deckled Circles die to cut out a small circle – which I adhered with Liquid Glue.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere a new Paper Butterfly Accents embellishment (coming in the new catalog tomorrow!) to the cardstock circle.

With the putty end of my Take Your Pick Tool – and little dabs of Liquid Glue – I adhered a bevy of new Champagne Iridescent Dots and the card front was done.  Was that a bit persnickety?  Yep.  Was it totally worth the effort?!  YEP! 😉

On the inside, I stamped the Field Notes image from Notes of Nature in Pecan Pie in the corner of the Basic White panel.  Then I added two more leaves/flower images from the set in Pebbled Path ink.  Finally, I stamped the splatter image a few times in stamped-off-once Pecan pie ink.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Distressed Gold Specialty Paper mat and into the Pecan Pie card base and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Pecan Pie and Pebbled Path images from Notes of Nature on the front…

…and more Nature’s Sweetness Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  You guys KNOW that this has ALL the things that make me happy, right?  Organic images – quiet colors – collage-y effects.  All thanks to the wunermus new Notes of Nature bundle and coordinating Nature’s Sweetness Specialty DSP!
