Stampin’ Up! Fruitful Blessings Tartan Z-Fold Thank You for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all!  It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge to work with (my fave!) and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table.  I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

I am still trying to do some Fall cards – Thanksgiving IS still coming! – so out came the cool Fruitful Blessings bundle and some Tartan Foil in Copper Clay! Take a look-see:

And here’s our sketch!

I turned it into a fun fold – and picked a few other elements (plaid and Thank You)! – as a result of this week’s Tic-Tac-Toe challenge!

And – being that I made it into a fun fold – I’ll also play along with the Creative Creases Anything Goes with a Fun Fold challenge!

I started with a 4 1/4″ x 11″ piece of Crushed Curry cardstock that I scored along the long side at 2 3/4″ and 5 1/2″.  I folded the 2 3/4″ score line as a mountain and the 5 1/2″ line as a valley.  And….”Z”.  Okay – and “UPSIDE DOWN – AND MAYBE BACKWARDS! – Z”! 🤷‍♀️

In the top left and bottom right corners – I stamped the foliage from Fruitful Blessings in Copper Clay ink.

For the art – I used the largest square Stylish Shapes die to cut a piece of Copper Clay Tartan Foil Specialty Paper.  Using Liquid Glue on the back left side (only!) – I adhered it in place on the front panel of the Z. TIP: close the card and then center the die cut square on the “whole card front” – then only adhere it to the front small panel.

I used the dies in the Fruitful Blessings set to cut several large and small leaves in Mossy Meadow and Old Olive cardstock.  Using Liquid Glue, I adhered three of the large leaves to the corner of the Tartan square.

I made the corn-on-the-cobs by cutting three solid corns from the Copper Clay Tartan Foil Specialty Paper, three detailed cuts from Crushed Curry and three “tops” from Very Vanilla.  I assembled them with Liquid Glue

I adhered the three completed corns to the Tartan square using Liquid Glue.

I tied a Linen Thread Double-Loop Bow (aka the “Farrah Fawcett bow”) and adhered it with a Glue Dot.

I stamped the Fruitful Blessings sentiment in Mossy Meadow on a strip of Very Vanilla, matted it on Crushed Curry and adhered it over the corns with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Using Liquid Glue, I adhered a few small die cut leaves here and there on the front panel.  And I added some Copper Clay Adhesive-backed Solid Gems – and the “front” was done!

For the inside, I stamped a second Fruitful Blessings sentiment in Mossy Meadow on a large Stylish Shapes die cut Very Vanilla square.

Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the square to the back panel – centering it and ensuring that it’s hidden when the card is folded up.  I added the remainder of the die cut leaves with Liquid Glue – and the card was done!

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got the Fruitful Blessings foliage in Copper Clay on the front…

…and a little more of the Copper Clay Tartan Foil Specialty Paper on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  This is a SUPER easy fun fold – I mean…it’s ONE extra score-and-fold!  But – with the addition of a bountiful harvest from the Fruitful Blessings – it turns into a real WOW!!  And I love the peeks of the Tartan Foil, don’t you?!
