Stampin’ Up! And…We’re OFF

Well – when you read this on Wednesday – Happy HAWMMP Day, by the way! – I’ll be in a new time zone.  Ireland is 5 hours ahead of us in Atlanta so…my postings may get a little wonky on the times.  Be patient with me!

And that’s no Blarney!

😂

Anywho!!

Yesterday was…LONG!  Actually, it’s still going on.  You can’t go to sleep when you land at 9 in the morning local time.  It’s just not the way to get used to where you are.  Gotta just brute your way thru!

We got the Man off to Camp with no incidents – he ate his breakfast at the unDOGly hour of 6am – he has quite the way with words and made his feelings on the matter quite clear.

Then we loaded up and…

Like children the world over…he slept while Mom and Dad drove on the family vacay!

Our arrival at camp was uneventful – we handed over the Bed, the toy, the bones (with instructions), the tub of pumpkin, the 6 extra cans of pumpkin and the 5lb bucket of food.

I looked up to say a tearful and emotional good-bye to my child – intending to do my best to soothe him and comfort him and assure him we’d be back…only to see….

His pantaloonies sashaying away with the camp counselor.

He was gone so fast I couldn’t even get my phone out – so that picture is a re-creation of actual events.

He never even looked back. 🤷‍♀️

So here’s my final pic of the morning. The back of the truck on the way home. 🥹

When we got home, the Amazon delivery man arrived to save my day…

On Monday evening I’d realized that the “international adaptor” I’d been looking at for two months was, in fact, just a multi plug.  No adaptation nor international to be found.

Bezos to the rescue – gotta love overnight Prime delivery!

The airport was…the airport.  I saw one thing I never thought I’d see in an airport…

We did not avail ourselves of any of their…products or services!

Sitting at the gate waiting for the call!

The flight was good – and the video doohickey had one of the coolest displays ever!

I know, right?!  The old pilot in me was intrigued! 🙂

So – here we are – on the way to the Emerald Isle!

And – I owe each and every one of you my most heartfelt THANK YOU for making this amazing trip possible for me and Wayne!  We’d never have done this without Stampin’ Up – and without my amazing customers and team!!

Stay tuned!!  I’ll be back tomorrow with a card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!

So glad that Mr Finn was enthusiastic about his adventure, now you can get on with yours knowing he is well taken care of. Love the hair cut! Too too cute! And, yes, whatever did we do before Amazon Prime? 🤣

I can no longer remember how to plan far enough ahead – apparently! – thanks to Amazon. It’s pretty amazing! Thanks, Judi! 🙂

  4. Poor Finn…he looks like he’s really having a hard time without you at doggy day camp. I’m sure that the counselors have had to console him the entire time. 😉
