Stampin’ Up! Very Best Occasions Cheerful Daisies for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all!  It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a great sketch challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table – I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

I KNOW I keep going back to the Cheerful Daisies Bundle and the Fresh as a Daisy DSP – I just can’t help it – it’s too pretty not to play with! I paired it with a super sentiment-only set that you can get right now – called Very Best Occasions.  Take a look-see!

And here’s the sketch we all played with on the hop!

This one is quick and easy so…buckle up, buttercup! 😉

I started by embossing a Pecan Pie panel in the Timber 3D Embossing Folder and then adhering it to the front of my Pecan Pie card base using Liquid Glue.

I cut down two pieces of Fresh as a Daisy DSP (you realize we’re less than a WEEK from you guys being able to get this and ALL the new goodies from the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog?!? 😎🎉😎🎉😎) and matted both of them on Lemon Lolly cardstock.

One of the designs is a solid Boho Blue and I adhered that one to the card front with Liquid Glue.  I adhered the matted flowered panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Using Stampin’ Seal, I adhered two pieces of new Copper Clay 3/8″ Textured Ribbon.

Using one of my favorite new dies from the Cheerful Daisies die set – I cut a Lemon Lolly “twig” and adhered it over the ribbon with some Liquid Glue.

On a piece of Basic White, I stamped the Very Best Occasions sentiment in Boho Blue.  I cut it out with the label die in the Cheerful Daisies die set!

I popped the sentiment over the ribbon and twig with Stampin’ Dimensionals,

Then I adhered a few Pecan Pie gems from the Adhesive-backed Solid Gems (coming next week!!) and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped a second Very Best Occasions sentiment in Boho Blue on a Basic White panel,  Next to it, in stamped-off-once Pecan Pie, I added the sweet little daisy from Cheerful Daisies! I added another of the Pecan Pie Adhesive-backed Solid Gems.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Lemon Lolly mat and then in to the Pecan Pie card base and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Cheerful Daisies flower in Pecan Pie on the front…

…and more of the Fresh as a Daisy DSP in Wild Wheat (with more Pecan Pie flowers stamped on it) on the envelope flap!

Et Voila!  Oh – the many faces of the Fresh as a Daisy DSP – it is SO GOOD!  And the coordinating Cheerful Daises bundle is amazeballs – even WITHOUT cutting out even one flower!  Very Best Occasions is a great set that is carrying over into the new catalog – so…if you don’t have it – get it right now!  You won’t be sorry!

I hope you like!
