Stampin’ Up! Best Butterfly Kisses for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all!  It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a cool sketch to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table – I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

I decided it was time to play with another fun bundle from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog – the Best Butterflies stamp set and bundled Build a Butterfly dies, plus the pretty and colorful Butterfly Kisses 6″ x 6″ DSP!  Take a look see:

And – here’s our sketch!

I selected several elements for the card based on the Tic-Tac-Toe challenge this week. I went down the right column (Butterfly – Patterned Paper – Floral) and across the diagonal (Gems/sequins – Embossing – Butterfly). 🙂

I started by adhering a piece of the Butterfly Kisses 6″ x 6″ DSP (leaving us soon!) to the front of a Fresh Freesia card base using Liquid Glue.

Then I cut two more Butterfly Kisses designs – one in Starry Sky and the other with a Parakeet Party and Fresh Freesia floral print – using the next-to-largest Deckled Rectangle Dies.

I adhered the Night of Navy die cut to the card front on an angle with Liquid Glue.  Then I adhered the second die cut straight on the card front.

I cut out two Parakeet Party cardstock boughs using the Bough Punch and adhered them with Liquid Glue.

On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the Best Butterflies sentiment in Fresh Freesia and cut it with the second-from-smallest Deckled Rectangle die.  Then I embossed it in the cross-hatch folder from the Online Exclusives Basics 3D Embossing Folders.

I adhered the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I used the two butterfly dies in the Build a Butterfly die set to cut out a large Basic White butterfly and a small Starry Sky butterfly.

I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere both flutterbies to the card front.

Finally, I added some Parakeet Party 2022-2024 In Color Matte Dots and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped a second sentiment from Best Butterflies in Fresh Freesia on a Basic White panel.  In the corner, I stamped some wings and the smaller butterfly body in Starry Sky and Parakeet Party.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Starry Sky mat and into the Fresh Freesia card base and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the butterfly on the front…

…and more of the Butterfly Kisses 6″ x 6″ DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Y’all – this is such a cute bundle and…the whole shooting match is RETIRING – which means it’s officially in the “while supplies last” category! As is the Butterfly Kisses 6″ x 6″ DSP – which is just the cheeriest paper ever!  I love it in Fresh Freesia – which..is going to be COMING BACK!  Yeah!!
