Good morning, y’all – welcome to the week and I hope you had a good weekend! Not to put too fine a point on it but…we’re twenty days from Christmas. Yes. Twenty. Days. 😳
My card today is another sneak peek at the beautiful Desert Details stamp set and bundled dies – plus more of the Delicate Desert DSP! Take a second sneaky peek!
The layout was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches challenge this week – I turned it upside down! 🙂
And the colors were inspired by the Color Throwdown challenge.
I started by adhering a full-panel of new Delicate Desert DSP to the front of a Calypso Coral card base using Liquid Glue.
Next, I cut a frame from a piece of Silver Foil Specialty Pack paper. I did that by running BOTH Desert Details frame dies (one inside the other) thru the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine at the same time. I got a regular frame PLUS the “negative” is a cool panel that I set aside for another project!
I adhered the frame to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On a piece of Basic White, I stamped the Desert Details sentiment in Soft Succulent and cut it with the second-to-largest circle die from the Stylish Shapes die set. Then I adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On a piece of Basic White, I stamped the two flower images from Desert Details in Calypso Coral ink. This is a DistINKtive stamp set – so the images are gorgeous. They WILL, however, benefit greatly from being tap-tap-tapped with a Sponge Dauber (that makes the ink settle and the gorgeous detail markings really pop!).
I cut the three flowers with the matching Desert Details dies.
I used the foliage die in the Desert Details set to cut two leaves from one of the Soft Succulent designs in the Delicate Desert DSP. Down in the right corner, I used a Dimensional to adhere one of the die cuts. I added the large flower with some more Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I tied a simple bow from two lengths of Linen Thread and adhered it with a Glue Dot. I added one of the small flowers over top with a Dimensional.
I trimmed the second leaves die cut a bit and tucked it underneath the circle at the top with a little Liquid Glue – then I popped the second small flower over the top with a Dimensional.
I added some Crumb Cake dots from the new Enamel Dots Essentials pack (coming – along with the Delicate Desert suite! – in the new catalog on 5 Jan!) and the card front was done.
On the inside, I stamped the large Desert Details flower in Calypso Coral and added a small Crumb Cake Enamel Dot!
I used Stampin’ Seal to adhere the panel to a Soft Succulent mat and into the Calypso Coral card base and the card was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the large Desert Details flower on the front…
…and more of the Delicate Desert DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Oh my goodness, y’all – I am so loving this gorgeous Desert Details bundle and that Delicate Desert DSP is…simply amazing! So beautiful – and I’ve really only scratched the surface of what can be done with the stamp set and dies!!

Finn Fan Fix 
We have a new Tractor Supply just around the corner! Whoo-hoo!!
We’re so excited that we went there twice in two days! The first day – Wayne needed some bolts. Uhm…okay? 🤷♀️
Yesterday we needed some grass hay pellets for Cerah so…off we went!
The Man went both days – and the folks working there were SO happy so see him!
I totally didn’t get a shot on day one – but..I fixed that yesterday!
There are THREE great things about TSC if you’re a dog.
The SMELLS!! Oh my!
The petting and loving! YES!
And – COOKIES at the checkout!!
He’s so stinkin’ cute – and gentle about taking the cookie – that…he often gets TWO!!
Afterwards – back in the van – he helped supervise the loading of the hay pellets for his pony.
And then…ready for the next adventure, Mom!
