The card I made today uses the Celebrate With Tags stamp set – which is carrying over (yeah!) – plus some pretty Storybook Gnomes and Santa Express DSP (neither of which are carrying over so…if you want them…check the Last Chance Sale tomorrow!). Take a look-see:
The layout was inspired by the Sketch Saturday Challenge!
And the color palette is from the Sunday Stamps challenge.
I started by using Liquid Glue to adhere a full size piece of Storybook Gnomes DSP on the front of a Pool Party card base.
Then I matted a piece of Santa Express DSP on Sweet Sorbet and then adhered that to the front of the card.
A second design from the Santa Express DSP – matted on Sweet Sorbet – was next for the narrow strip – which I also adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.
Using Stampin’ Seal, I adhered a length of new Pool Party 3/8″ Grosgrain Ribbon (coming to you in January in the Jan – Apr 2023 Mini Catalog).
I adhered a Wonderful Snowflake embellishment (these are carrying over – WHOOHOOO!!!) with a dab of Liquid Glue.
On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the Celebrate With Tags sentiment in Coastal Cabana ink and cut it out with the smallest of the wider dies in the Stitched Rectangle Die set.
I popped the sentiment on with Stampin’ Dimensionals, added a Sweet Sorbet 2022-2024 In Color Matte Dot and the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped the sweet mitten from Celebrate With Tags in Coastal Cabana on a piece of Basic White cardstock. I added a little Sweet Sorbet 2022-2024 In Color Matte Dot to the cuff, too!
I used Stampin’ Seal to adhere the panel to a Sweet Sorbet mat and into the Pool Party card base and the card was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Celebrate With Tags mitten on the front…
…and a little more of the Santa Express DSP on the envelope flap!
Et Voila! Snowflakes are the common thing that pulls the Storybook Gnomes DSP together with the Santa Express DSP (THIS paper is going to be 40% off in the Last Chance Sale!! 😳😳😳) and mitten on the inside from the Celebrate With Tags set. Cool, huh? I love when I can combine elements from mulitple suites and they work perfectly together, don’t you?!!
