Happy Happy Hawwwmp Day, y’all! Hope the week is proceeding apace for you and that it’s going well so far!
I wanted to update you on my Stamp Case/Die Set/Punch/Embossing Folder label availability! I just added the labels for the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog to my Shop – you can get them – and the labels for the Jul – Dec 2022 Mini/ SAB right here! Hope they help you get/stay organized!
My card today uses a stamp set from the annual catalog, called Graceful Tiles, and it’s a new-to-me set! I paired it with the Lovely Linen DSP and…the Stylish Shapes Dies. Take a look-see:
The design for this one is from the Try Stampin’ On Tuesday sketch challenge.
I started by matting a piece of Lovely Linen DSP on Soft Succulent for the card front.
I created the art/sentiment panel by first stamping the Graceful Tiles sentiment in Soft Succulent near the bottom of a smaller Basic White panel. I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Soft Succulent mat.
On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped one of the smaller images from Graceful Tiles five times in Sweet Sorbet ink. Then I cut them all out with the smallest square Stylish Shapes die.
I used the same die to cut four squares from a second Night of Navy pattern in the Lovely Linen DSP.
I laid all the “tiles” out and then adhered them in their grid pattern using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Then I adhered the entire panel to the card front with Liquid Glue.
I added a Night of Navy Solid Faceted Gem to each of the stamped tiles and next to the sentiment, and the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped a second sentiment from Graceful Tiles in Soft Succulent ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the pretty little corner image from the set in each corner in Night of Navy ink. Then I added a few more Solid Faceted Gems.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Soft Succulent mat and into my Sweet Sorbet card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Night of Navy Graceful Tiles corners on the front…
…and more of the Lovely Linen DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Graceful Tiles is different from the stamp sets I usually love – no leaves. No flowers. No trees. But…as I played with it to make this card – which was uber-easy to do! – I sorta fell in…heavy…LIKE…with it! It’s got so many possibilities – and I do LOVE that sentiment I used on the inside, don’t you? Lovely Linen DSP is a mix of mosaics and geometric designs in fun colors, so…I hope you’ve got some. AND – the Stylish Shapes Dies. Y’all – if you don’t have this one already – just get it now! Trust me on this! I hope you like!
