Stampin’ Up! Fond of Autumn Wonderful World Thank You

Good morning good morning! My squeaky clean dog and I hope that you’re having a great week!

Okay – he might not STILL be squeaky – I mean..BOY!  FARM!  But – he’s WAAY better than he was!

My card today is a return to the amazing – and FREE! – Wonderful World Bundle (free during Sale-A-Bration with a qualifying order over $100) – and the Fond of Autumn Bundle.  I used them to create a pretty CAS thank you card.  Take a look-see:

Stampin' Up! Fond of Autumn Wonderful World Thank You

The layout for this one is from the FUSION sketch – and a little from the inspiration photo – side this week.

I started with a piece of Basic White cardstock that I embossed in the Timber 3D Embossing Folder and matted on Starry Sky cardstock to make the card front.

Then I used two sizes of Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut out a couple of Wonderful World DSP designs…

and adhered them both to the card front with Liquid Glue.

I used a piece of Stampin’ Seal + to adhere a loose loopy “bow” of Orchid Oasis 1/8″ Woven Metallic Ribbon.

One of the Wonderful World DSP designs features big, bold and gorgeous floral images and I pulled out my Paper Snips to cut one out!  The images are perfectly sized for a card front – and really easy to fussy cut!  Really!

I popped the fussy cut flower over the loopy ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a piece of Basic White, I stamped the banner outline from the Autumn Bouquet Die set (bundled with Fond of Autumn) in Orchid Oasis ink.  On the inside, I stamped the sentiment in Daffodil Delight.  Use the die from Autumn Bouquet to cut out the sentiment

I used a couple of Stampin’ Dimensionals on the ends of the banner to adhere it over the die cut flowers.

To finish it off, I added a few Heart Pearls – and the card front was done!

On the inside, I kept it real simple – just stamping the tiny single leaf image from Wonderful World in Mossy Meadow on a Basic White panel.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Starry Sky mat and into my Daffodil Delight card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got more of the Wonderful World leaves in Mossy Meadow on the front…

…and more of the Wonderful World DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Man, oh man – I LOVE the Wonderful World DSP – the florals are just stunning and so versatile!  The bundled stamp set creates gorgeous images.  Add in the fact that you can get it for FREE with a $100+ purchase during Sale-A-Bration and…it’s pretty well perfect!  And if you need a pretty sentiment – then look no further than the Fond of Autumn bundle – the sentiments and dies are pretty AND handy!

Finn Fan Fix

Y’all!  The grooming session was a rousing success!

Shout out to Abby at Skippety-Do-Dog in Tyrone, GA.  She got an Aussie smile and a lot of wiggle-butting and off they went – with my nervous-mother-instructions on how to make sure my man had a great experience!

An hour and change later I got the text “Finn is ready for pickup”!  That’s right – they don’t do ANY kennels or cages.  Each groomer has one dog at a time and they get in and get out and back home where they want to be!

He was happy to see me – but…not like…OH NO GET ME OUT OF HERE!  Just regular happy.

Abby said he did well with everything – even the high speed blower to help get rid of all that extra undercoat. And that he was very well behaved (if, perhaps, the largest Aussie she’d ever groomed!!) and very sweet.

She is, of course, spot on!

On the way home – he was visibly pleased with himself! And sharing his shiny clean self with whoever would look!  Check out that snowy white collar!

And – more than happy to pose for a glamour shot!

He’s so silky and soft and packed-undercoat-free!

We will for SURE be going back!

  1. Finn, HANDSOME, suave, debonair…redundant, I know, but oh.so.true!! I love the design of your card and that fussy cut flower. Wish I could fussy cut like that. Even though I turn the paper, not the snips, it comes out jaggedy raggedy. Have a blessed day.

    • stampsnlingers

Thanks so much, Karen!! I love fussy cutting, for sure – especially these beautiful flowers! And yes – all the superlatives are SPOT ON! 🙂

  2. Beautiful card! Love the clean design and layering. The flower image is stunning! Yay! So happy to hear that it was a great experience at the groomer…I can see the smile on his face on the ride home. 🙂 So…how long did it last before he ran through the first mud puddle??

    • stampsnlingers

Well – we DO live on a farm. And it HAS been raining. So…I’ll let you draw your own – likely accurate! – conclusion! Thanks much, Amy! 🙂

Aww…beautimous Finny! So glad it was a happy place. Great there are no cages!!! Addy Lu’s session is postponed, but, guess what? She doesn’t seem to mind…altho’ the groomy lady has no cages either and comes to the house.
