Good morning, my peeps! I hope your weekend has been as gorgeous as ours! Windows and door open – actually too warm for the fur-kid. Wunnermus! Daffodils – the tulip tree – Spring is sputtering to life here in Georgia! So we celebrated by doing some gardening and some mulch-getting!
So – y’all have seen the Savings Are in Bloom special that’s going on right now, yes? Well, my card for you today uses one of my fave bundles (YES! They brought it back as a bundle for you for the sale!!) – the Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle. And – since it was too perfect, I paired it with some Heart & Home DSP. Take a look-see:

The layout for this Springy card is from the Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge this week.
And I also played along with the Tic-Tac-Toe challenge. I got across the top (Bright colors – Flowers – Ribbon/Twine) and on the diagonal (Bright Colors – Spring -Metallic).
I started by adhering two panels of the Heart & Home DSP to a Smoky Slate mat, to make the card front, using Liquid Glue.
Next, I stamped the big, bold and beauteous flower from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set (you know – for this month, it’s back as a bundle AND you can get it for 20% off! Whoo-hooo!!) in Bumble Bee on a piece of Basic White cardstock. Then I cut it out with the solid die from the bundled Sunflowers Die set.
Color the flower with the Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend.
I cut the big detailed Sunflower in Daffodil Delight and adhered it to the stamped flower with Liquid Glue. There’s a flower center die in the Sunflowers Die set and I used it to cut a Brushed Metallic Cardstock center (this is a product that, while not currently in any catalog, is still available in the Online Store!) – which I adhered to the flower with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The Sunflower Dies has two really cool stems dies – and I cut three of them from Brushed Metallic Cardstock.
I also cut three each of the detailed and solid leaves dies from Garden Green – and adhered them together with Liquid Glue.
Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the leaves to the card front.
Using a couple of Glue Dots, I wound Linen Thread around into a loose loop…then I adhered the sunflower over top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On a strip of the wood-grain DSP from Heart & Home, I stamped the Celebrate Sunflowers sentiment in Garden Green. Then I used the Banners Pick A Punch to cut the ends. I did the same to a slightly larger piece of Smoky Slate to make a mat.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the sentiment to its mat – then popped it onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I used Glue Dots to add a few Bumblebee Trinkets here and there. And then, cuz I just couldn’t help it, I added some Brushed Brass Butterflies to the sentiment and the card front was done.
For the inside, I stamped a second sentiment from Celebrate Sunflowers in Garden Green on Basic White panel. In the corner, I stamped another Celebrate Sunflowers floral in Bumble Bee ink. Then I colored the flower with my Light Daffodil Delight and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends, and the leaves with the Light Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blend. A few more of my much-loved Brushed Brass Butterflies finished it off!
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Smoky Slate mat and into my Daffodil Delight card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the smaller floral on the front…
…and more Heart & Home DSP on the envelope flap!
Et Voila! I was so happy to see the great sale on so many wonderful sets from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog (and the Mini Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, too!) and am really REALLY glad that this amazeballs Celebrate Sunflowers BUNDLE came back as part of the list of sale bundles!
