Stampin’ Up! Ever Eden’s Garden Sneak Peek Macrame Hello!

Happy Monday (please excuse the oxymoron!).  Hope that the week ahead looks good!  We’ve got nice – if a little warm! – weather ahead so that’s good!  We’ve been able to open the windows at night – which is lovely.  And the leaves are starting to change – the dogwood next to the garage is in full Fall regalia!

My card today is another little sneaky peek at the new Eden’s Garden bundle and Ever Eden Specialty DSP – which will be available to you SOON (like….2 Nov 21!).  I’ve also used one of my favorite things – the Macrame 3D Embossing Folder.  Take a look-see:

This fun layout was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches challenge this week!

And when I saw the color challenge at Just Add Ink – I knew it was FOR ME.  It’s one of my fave color combos!

I started by embossing a piece of Soft Succulent cardstock in the Macrame 3D Embossing Folder (look at that amazing texture!).  Then I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a piece of Polished Pink 2021-2023 In Color Shimmer Vellum for the card front.

Using Liquid Glue, I adhered three strips of new Ever Eden Specialty DSP (this will ONLY be available from 2 Nov – 3 Jan while supplies last!) on strips of the Polished Pink 2021-2023 In Color Shimmer Vellum.

I adhered them to the card front with Liquid Glue – letting the ends spill off the edges of the card front.  Then I trimmed the excess with my Stampin’ Trimmer.

Using the single leaf die in the Eden Dies (bundled with the Eden’s Garden stamp set and available starting 2 Nov 2021 – AND in the Jan -Jun 2022 Mini Catalog!) I cut two Gold Foil leaves and one Soft Succulent 2021-2023 In Color Shimmer Vellum leaf.

I adhered the leaves to the card front with Liquid Glue with the vellum leaf in the center.

On a piece of Basic White, I stamped the Eden’s Garden sentiment in Polished Pink.  Over top I added the leaf image in stamped-off-once Soft Succulent.  I cut the sentiment with a Layering Circles Die.

I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop the sentiment circle onto a Polished Pink 2021-2023 In Color Shimmer Vellum scalloped-edge Layering Circle Die cut.

Then I popped the whole thing onto the card front with more Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I tied a bow from the pretty Polished Pink 3/8″ Open Weave Ribbon and adhered it just under the sentiment circle with a Glue Dot.

I added a few Soft Succulent gems from the 2021-2023 In Color Jewels to the sentiment and the card front was done.

On the inside, I added the leaf image from Eden’s Garden in stamped-off-once Soft Succulent onto a Basic White panel.  Across the bottom, I used Liquid Glue to adhere a Polished Pink 2021-2023 In Color Shimmer Vellum matted strip of Ever Eden Specialty DSP.

I used Stampin’ Seal to adhere the panel to a Polished Pink 2021-2023 In Color Shimmer Vellum mat and into my Soft Succulent card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Eden’s Garden leaf image in full-strength Soft Succulent on the front…

…and more of the Eden’s Garden Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I LOVE the pops of Polished Pink with the Soft Succulent in the Ever Eden Specialty DSP, don’t you?  It’s so…unexpected!  The paper is gorgeous and organic and subtly elegant with the touches of gold foil!  And the Eden’s Garden stamp set with the uber-cool Eden Dies bundled with it – is going to bring us a lot of happy card making!!  If you don’t have the Macrame 3D Embossing Folder….you can (and I think you SHOULD!) pick it up right now!!

I hope you like!

  1. Ginger Christiansen

Beautiful card. Been watching your utube videos. U make the most beautiful cards.

    • stampsnlingers

Thank you so much, Ginger – that’s very sweet! 🙂

  2. As soon as I saw your beautiful creation, I knew the challenges you had entered! I will be CASEing this one and entering the same ones with an add on. Poor Finn, you’d think he’d be used to the Paparazzi! Have a blessed week.

    • stampsnlingers

He is – he’s just disgusted with them! ROLF! Thanks so much, Karen! 🙂

  3. So pretty! Love the clean design, perfect with the touches of pink. 🙂 Poor Finn…he’s just trying to make sure that he doesn’t miss a thing and the next thing he knows, he’s on camera. 😉

    • stampsnlingers

Yep – the paparazzi are always in the way. It’s actually a security threat! 😉 Thanks, Amy! 🙂

  4. LOVE everything about this! The background texture with the paper with the pretty way you did the sentiment – it’s all just right! Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.

  5. chantell16

Very pretty – the ribbon is devine, super pretty. Chantell Just Add Ink

    • stampsnlingers

Thank you, Chantell – appreciate you stopping by! 🙂

  6. Beautiful card! Love the pink and green and the embossed front. Finn doesn’t realize his importance and appeal, so doesn’t get the paparazzi thing. That’s what happens when you become famous.
