Stampin’ Up! Time of Giving Gifts on Cork!

Happy Happy HAWWWWMP DAY!!! This has been one of those weeks – where nothing terribly special happens.  Just…one day.  Then the next.  And the next.

You know.  LIFE! 🙂

But – since life is happening, I made a card for you.  Cuz…that’s what I do!  I’m lucky that way that my job is now to MAKE CARDS!  Score!

I used a sweet little bundle from the Jul – Dec 2021 Mini Catalog called the Time of Giving Bundle.  And I paired it with some Blackberry Beauty Specialty DSP and…CORK!!  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one is from The Paper Players challenge this week!

I started by adhering a piece of the wunnermus Cork Specialty Paper to a Blackberry Bliss mat with Stampin’ Seal for the card front.

Next – I used the next-to-largest die in the Scalloped Contours Die set to cut a piece of Blackberry Beauty Specialty DSP.  From the center, I cut out a Stitched Rectangle Die – using the 4th-from-the-smallest die.  Then made a frame that I popped onto the card front with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut two 1″ wide strips of the Blackberry Beauty Specialty DSP and cut the tops of them with the Delightful Tag Topper Punch.  I cut a 1″ strip of Bronze Brushed Metallic Cardstock and then used the Delightful Tag Topper Punch on it, too.  Then I cut the Giving Gifts pumpkin-tag die from it to create the detailed tag.

I adhered the metallic tag to one of the Blackberry Beauty Specialty DSP tags using Liquid Glue.  Then I cut both tags down to a total length of 3″.

I popped them into the frame with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Using the leaf dies in the Giving Gifts set, I cut some Blackberry Bliss and some Bronze Brushed Metallic Leaves.  I stamped the wheat image from Time Of Giving twice on a piece of Cork Specialty Paper and cut them out with the matching die in Giving Gifts.

Then I used used Liquid Glue to adhere them ever-so-artfully around the top of the tags!

I tied a double-loop Linen Thread bow and adhered it to the top of the tags – over the leaves – with a Glue Dot.

For the sentiment, I stamped the Time of Giving sentiment in Blackberry Bliss on a piece of Very Vanilla and cut it with the small Stitched Rectangle Die.  Then I used Black Stampin’ Dimensionals and a little Liquid Glue to adhere it to the card front and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped the wheat image from Time of Giving in Cinnamon Cider in each corner – stamping it three times without re-inking between stamping.

I used Stampin’ Seal to adhere the panel to a Blackberry Bliss mat and into my Cinnamon Cider card base, popped the card front on with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got the Time of Giving wheat on the front…

…and more of the Blackberry Beauty Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Seriously – CORK SPECIALTY PAPER!  I love it SO much!  And the sweet Time of Giving stamp set with the fun die cuts in the bundled Giving Gifts dies set is handy as it can be – covering Christmas, Fall and Halloween!  Blackberry Beauty Specialty DSP was a shoe-in for this card, don’t you think??  No need to answer – I know the answer is YEP!

I hope you like!
