It’s Friday it’s Friday it’s Friday!! Whoo-hooo!!! I hope you’ve had a great week and are looking forward to a fun weekend. Note – if you live in Massachusetts – check out the Tax Free Weekend info down below! THIS is your weekend and it’s pretty all-encompassing! 😉
My card for you today is a simple one that features the gorgeous Nature’s Harvest Bundle and some Heartwarming Hugs DSP (no – it is NOT just for Christmas/Holiday cards!). Take a look-see:
The layout for this one comes from the Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge.
And the color palette is courtesy of The Paper Players.
And I selected elements for the card based on the inspiration challenge from Hand Stamped Sentiments.
I started with a piece of plaid Heartwarming Hugs DSP that I matted on Daffodil Delight for the card front.
Then I cut a square of Basic White and ran it thru my Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine with a Stitched With Whimsy die in place. I matted it on Daffodil Delight and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.
I used my Stamparatus to stamp the large coneflower image from Nature’s Harvest in Early Espresso. Then I colored it using my Daffodil Delight and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Combos. I cut it out with the coordinating die in the Harvest Dies.
I used dies in the Harvest Die set to cut an Old Olive branch and a Daffodil Delight grass. These I adhered to the card front with Liquid Glue.
I popped the stamped and die-cut coneflower over the other die cuts using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I tied a double-loop bow from Linen Thread and adhered it with a Glue Dot.
On Basic White, I stamped a Nature’s Harvest sentiment in Early Espresso and cut it with the label die from the Harvest die set.
I used a couple of triple-stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment over the bow. Then I used Glue Dots to add a few Bumblebee Trinkets – and the card front was done
On the inside, I stamped a second Nature’s Harvest sentiment in Early Espresso on Basic White and added the coneflower in the corner – coloring it as I’d done the flower on the front.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Daffodil Delight mat and into my Real Red card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Nature’s Harvest coneflower on the front…
…and more of the Heartwarming Hugs DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! I. Love. Nature’s Harvest. The stamp set. The bundled Harvest Dies. The sentiments and images. All of it! And I love how it works with the homespun plaid from the Heartwarming Hugs DSP! And…Bumblebee Trinkets? Oh yes!!
I hope you like!

Love this card. Right in my wheelhouse. Did Finn give chase? I didn’t see the deer, so, yeah, good thing I’m not in charge. Good guard you have there.
