Stampin’ Up! Sweet Little Stockings Santa Paws is Coming!

Well – Happy Happy HAWWWWMP DAY!!!  Are you having fun with the new catalog and earning lots of free stuff??  Hard not to party just a little, right?  So many cool goodies to be had!

So yesterday I gave you a little peek at the card I have for you today – it features the new Sweet Little Stockings Bundle and Sweet Stockings DSP and…a whole bunch of coolness from the Sweet Stockings Suite.  Take a look-see:

I started with some really sweet DSP from the Sweet Stockings DSP that I matted on Cherry Cobbler for the card front.  The curved piece is a piece of Basic White that I cut with a die in the Basic Borders die set.

Using the little pine boughs stamp in the Sweet Little Stockings set, I stamped a garland around the cut circle edge, using Evening Evergreen and Old Olive inks.

I stamped the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler and popped the cut panel onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On Basic White, I stamped the cat and dog images from Sweet Little Stockings in Smoky Slate and Cinnamon Cider, respectively.  Then I colored them with the light Stampin’ Blends in the same Smoky Slate and Cinnamon Cider – and a little Light Flirty Flamingo Blend for the kittie’s ears. 🙂

I also stamped a couple of Cherry Cobbler peppermint canes and a Tuxedo Black Memento Ink gift.  I colored the gift with the Light Cherry Cobbler, Dark Pool Party and Light Evening Evergreen Blends.  Then, I cut them all out using the dies in the Stockings Die set – and also cut three stockings from a piece of the Sweet Stockings DSP.  I LOVE that I can do that with this set! 🙂

I adhered the “end” stockings with Liquid Glue and popped the dog and cat on top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I did the opposite on the middle stocking – popping IT on with Dimensionals and adding the gift and canes with Liquid Glue.

I decided a santa hat was in order – so I stamped it in Cherry Cobbler on Basic White and colored it with the Light Cherry Cobbler Blend, then cut it with its die and adhered it with Liquid Glue.

I cut some stars, holly and holly berries – using the Stockings Die – from some Bumble Bee, Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler Jolly Felt – and adhered them with Liquid Glue.  This Jolly Felt is COOL, y’all – it’s thin enough to cut well and it doesn’t add a lot of weight or bulk to your card!.

I nestled some Matte Decorative Dots in Cherry Cobbler and Bumble Bee in amongst the pine garland and the card front was done!

On the inside, I added a second sentiment from Sweet Little Stockings in Cherry Cobbler on Basic White.  Then I stamped two Tuxedo Black gifts at the bottom and colored them with the Pool Party, Evening Evergreen and Cherry Cobbler Blends.  A final Bumble Bee dot from the Matte Decorative Dots finished it off.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Cherry Cobbler mat and into my Old Olive card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Sweet Little Stockings gifts on the front…

…and a little more Sweet Stockings DSP on the envelope flap.  And..since I got a little jiggy with my Stampin’ Blends on the front – added another gift on the back! 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Et Voila!!  How cute cute CUTE is this Suite?!?  I love all the images and sentiments in the Sweet Little Stockings stamp set – and being able to cut them out with the Stockings Dies (not to mention cutting DSP stockings!!) is awesome.  The coordinating Sweet Stockings DSP is so pretty – I love the colors and designs very much!
