Happy Happy Hawwwwmp Day, y’all! Hope your week is going well! I’ve been card making and cooking – made a big batch of Instant Pot Fresh Tomato Marinara and a batch of…cookies! And made sourdough waffles this week, too! Even extra-long-cooked a few of those to make crunchy “biscuits” for Finn. He’s a fan!
My card today uses the fun new Pretty Pumpkins stamp set with its bundled Detailed Pumpkins Dies – that I combined with the Harvest Meadow DSP. These are all going to be available to you on 3 Aug – which is…like practically right around the corner. Take a look-see!
The layout for this one is from the Just Add Ink sketch challenge this week.
And many of the elements of the card got there thanks to the Tic-Tac-Toe challenge. I went down the middle column and across the middle row! 🙂
I started with two pieces of designer paper from the Harvest Meadow DSP – and I used Liquid Glue to adhere them to a Soft Succulent mat for the card front.
I wrapped some new 3/8″ Diamond Weave Ribbon (coming on 3 Aug in the new mini catalog) around the seam – securing it in the back with Glue Dots.
I used the detailed pumpkin die in the…Detailed Pumpkin Die set (🤔) to cut a Cork Specialty Paper pumpkin, that I adhered to the card front with Liquid Glue.
I put a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock into my Stamparatus and used it to stamped the pretty multi-colored pumpkin. Using the marker-to-rubber coloring technique and Stampin’ Write Markers in Crumb Cake, Cajun Craze, Bumble Bee, Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen – I colored the various leaves and grasses on the stamped image. The Stamparatus makes it easy to stamp the image multiple times! 🙂
I cut the pumpkin with its die from the Detailed Pumpkins Die set and popped it onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The next element is a double-loop Linen Thread Bow – adhered with a Glue Dot.
I stamped the three-pumpkin image from Pretty Pumpkins in Cajun Craze on Very Vanilla and cut it with its die. Then I colored it with the Pale Papaya and Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends Combo packs. Then I used double-stacked Dimensionals to adhere it over the double-loop bow.
I stamped the Pretty Pumpkins sentiment in Cajun Craze on Very Vanilla then fussy cut it, used a Bumble Bee Stampin’ Write Marker to “edge” the cut label and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.
A few gold Metallic Pearls here and there finished off the card front.
On the inside, I added a second Pretty Pumpkins sentiment in Cajun Craze on a Very Vanilla panel. In the corner, I stamped a leaf from the set in Cajun Craze and colored it with the Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends Combo. I added a gold Metallic Pearl next to the sentiment, too.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Soft Succulent mat and into my Cajun Craze card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got the Pretty Pumpkins leaf on the front…
…and more of the Harvest Meadow DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! This Pretty Pumpkins stamp set and bundled Detailed Pumpkins die set is so pretty (hmm – maybe that’s why SU! named it that??)! I love that stamped pumpkin image with all the little leaves and grasses in it – so fun to color (thank you, Stamparatus!) And the detailed die cut is wunnermus – especially when you cut it from Cork Specialty Paper! And – here it is again – the gorgeous Harvest Meadow DSP. Love love love!

Finn Fan Fix
Have y’all ever grown watermelons or cantaloupes?
I’ve “grown” them in the past – but…never “harvested” any. I was trying them on trellises and…was pretty much a fail.
This year – when the strawberries…failed – we planted a watermelon and couple three cantaloupes. Then we recently added a second watermelon – a Black Diamond (that was Free to a Good Home at the local hardware).
They’re going great guns!
Of course – the LAST time I did melons, I had a lot of leaves and stuff, too!
But…hark!
Early last week…
Baby watermelon on the left and baby cantaloupe on the right!
Yesterday…
And – those are just a couple! They’re all sort of COVERED with fruits!!
I’m so excited to eat a melon from my garden!
And – so is Finny. And the ponies!! They LOVE watermelons!
