Yesterday Wayne said to me….”Is tomorrow Friday again? Already?” And, of course, the answer was yes!! Which means…I’ll have a sparkly clean house by the end of the day. Whooo-hoooo!! Do y’all have something fun planned for your weekend? We….don’t, really. Might hit the Farmer’s Market. Maybe Lowe’s to pick up a couple three half-whiskey barrels to make a water feature for the garden. Places we can take Finn, so….he’ll like that if we end up doing those things.
We’re not mentioning it to him – JIC we don’t get it done. Expectation management is huge with Aussies. 😉
So…if you were able to join me yesterday for my YouTube live – I appreciate you spending part of your day with me. If not, but you’d like to watch the replay – here’s the link!
This card is all about the peaches! Sweet as a Peach – the entire bundle – and the You’re a Peach DSP! And – one of my favorite new products – the Macrame 3D Embossing Folder. Take a look-see:
The layout for this one is from this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge.
And I picked the peaches thanks to The Paper Players theme challenge.
I started with a beautifully flowered piece of You’re A Peach DSP that I matted on Early Espresso for the card front.
Next, I embossed four strips of Basic White in the Macrame 3D Embossing Folder. These are popped onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals – spaced equally across the panel.
I cut a Paper Lattice embellishment in half – roughly – and trimmed the edge. Then I adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.
I stamped the leaves image from Sweet as a Peach in Pear Pizzazz – using my Blending Brush to add a little Garden Green to the edges to give them a little more texture and depth. I stamped three peaches and three flowers – inking the stamp first in Pale Papaya. Then, using a Blending Brush, I added some Calypso Coral to the edges. I cut all the stamped images with their matching dies in the bundled Peach Die Set
I adhered the leaves with Liquid Glue and then added the flowers and peaches – most of those are popped on with Stampin’ Dimensionals – but a couple are adhered with Liquid Glue.
For the sentiment, I inked the large peach from the Sweet as a Peach set in Pale Papaya, adding Calypso Coral with the Blending Brush. I inked the leaf image in Pear Pizzazz and Garden Green – and cut them with their matching dies.
I adhered the leaf to the top of the peach with a dab of Liquid Glue. Then I stamped the sentiment onto the peach in Early Espresso.
Finally – I stamped the second sentiment from Sweet as a Peach in Calypso Coral and cut with the label die in the Peach Die set.
I tied a little bow from Linen Thread and added it to the top of the sentiment peach with Liquid Glue. Then I added the little die cut sentiment with a couple of Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added some Pale Papaya gems from the 2021-2023 In Color Jewels and the card front was done!
On the inside, I added a third Sweet as a Peach sentiment in Early Espresso to a Basic White panel. Then I stamped the large peach image over the top – coloring it the same as I’d done on the front.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to an Early Espresso mat and into my Pale Papaya card base – popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the large Sweet as a Peach peach on the front…
…and more of the pretty You’re A Peach DSP on the envelope flap!
Et Voila! Summer peaches are just part of the landscape here in GA – and in many parts of the country! And the Sweet as a Peach stamp set – with the matching Peach Dies – lets you create a whole bushel of gorgeous, juicy gems lickety-split! The coordinating You’re a Peach DSP is….simply stunning! Have I mentioned how much I love the Macrame 3D Embossing Folder!? Uhm..a LOT!
I hope you like!

Finn Fan Fix
The other night I finished cleaning up the kitchen (it might have been a little later than “usual”), picked up Finn’s two little night-bones and….looked for the Man.
Nowhere.
So…I headed to the back of the house.
Lookee what I found.
I had to push the door open with my nose, Mom! Sheesh. Would somebody PLEASE put the dog to bed?!?

Your card is so pretty. I love the macrame embossed panels. Have a fun weekend.
Thanks very much, Karen! Hope yours is great, too! 🙂
Sweet card! Love the layering and the little lattice under the focal image is perfect! Sorry that I missed your live, I’ll check out the replay! 🙂 Poor Finn…he’s a tired boy and no one is paying any attention. 😉
Thanks very much, Amy! Yep – it can be hard to get someone to put the dog to bed! 😉

Hi Mary,
I missed this ‘live’ session because I was sitting in Verizon getting a new phone….that takes a few minutes (turned into hours)….but I watched the re-play and really love this peach card. Now the macrame ef is definitely on my list too.
Finn definitely likes a schedule….!! Did he get his bones anyway??
Of course he got his bones! Have you met me?!? 😉 He misses VERY few treats. Thanks for watching – and hope you got that new phone – that DOES take a looooong time! 🙂
Beautiful card! I love your peaches and flowers. That EF adds just the right texture. TFS.
Poor Finny must’ve had a hard day! Glad he’s smart enough to go to bed when he’s tired!
He loves his bed and he loves to sleep! We are VERY lucky in that!! Thanks very much, Susan – glad you like the card! 🙂
Gorgeous peaches!! LOVE it with the paper lattice and the textured background! Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.
Thanks so much, Kim – appreciate you stopping by! 🙂
Love the peaches and flowers Mary. And the embossing folder is a stunning background.
Thanks so much, Kylie! 🙂
