Stampin’ Up! New In Colors and 2021-2022 Annual Catalog Sneak Peek Video!

Hey y’all – happy Saturday!  So – I’ve got a couple of things for you today!

First off – I’ll be live tonight at 7pm Eastern over on my Stamps-N-Lingers FB page.  I’ve got a pretty card to share with you – and yes, it uses a new goody from my 2021-2022 Annual Catalog pre-order.  Here’s a sneaky peek! 🙂

I think you’re going to like it and I KNOW you’re going to love the new stamp set and papers that I’ll show you! 😉

So – please join me – tonight.  7pm Eastern.  Right here!

Now – here’s a little sneaky peek at…drum roll….the new 2021-2023 In Colors!  I LOVE them!

Right?!?  So pretty!

You might be asking how they compare to our current colors….I think they’re pretty unique and are really going to be a nice addition to our color palette!  And – we get to play with them for two years.  Whoo-hoo!

Yesterday I did a (sort of long-winded…sorry!) sneak peek reveal of all the wonderful goodies I was able to pre-order as a Demonstrator.  If you didn’t get a chance to see it – you can check it out right here on YouTube!

Once you’ve seen all the new wonderfulness coming your way on 4 May (for customers), you MAY decide that you can’t wait.  And I would totally get that (I couldn’t either – obvs!).

If that’s you, too, then you might consider joining the team right now! If you purchase the Starter Kit during the month of April, you can add new catalog items from the Demonstrator pre-order list (I can email you a copy if you’d like to see it!) to your kit! Whoo-hoo!!  When you purchase the kit, you’ll pay just $99 + tax and you get to choose $125 in Stampin’ Up! merchandise.  Once you join, you’ll get at least a 20% discount on all of your Stampin’ Up! merchandise purchases and you get to order early from the upcoming catalogs!  Give me a holler at stamps-n-lingers@comcast.net if you’d like more information about joining!  I’d love to have you on the team!

So…see y’all tonight! 🙂

Finn Fan Fix

The other day I was sitting in the kitchen working on the computer when our first scout hummingbird of the season showed up at the back door!

He spent some time zooming this way and that, peering thru the glass door.

His message was as obvious as the beak on his tiny face!

WHERE.  IS.  THE.  FOOD?!?

I leaped up (Katy has trained me well to respond instantly to feline/canine/avian demands) and whipped up a batch of hummingbird food (1 cup white sugar – 4 cups water – simmer for 5 minutes – cool).  I hung both feeders and waited for the hordes.

He’s been back several times each day since.

Same little guy each time –  I am totally certain! I don’t think he told anyone else about the feeders! LOL

I THINK he might be a Hoarder Hummer.

  1. I will miss the hummingbirds in NC this month but the owner of our rental house is up there now and he will be sure to take care of them. I’ll also miss you tonight as I will be at my brother’s. It will be the first time Chester has been left alone overnight…should be interesting to see what I come home to! I just hope he doesn’t stress too much with another missing person. I wish you and Wayne a wonderful Easter.

Enjoy the evening with your brother! Chester will be fine. Or…he WON’T and will let you know about it in no-uncertain-terms when you get home! 🙂

      • Chester was so happy to see me and he was a good boy while I was gone. What a nice Easter present for me!!

      • stampsnlingers

Oh – I’m really glad to hear that, Karen! I know it was a big relief for you! 🙂

  2. Looking forward to seeing your video this evening! Thanks for sharing the new goodies too, awesome new catalog! Yeah, those darn humming birds do have a way of getting us to hop up quickly and get them fed!! 🙂

    • stampsnlingers

Yep – they say jump we ask how hi! But – they’re so fun to watch – it’s worth it! Thanks, Amy! 🙂

What!? You have a hummer already? Mine don’t show up until around May 1st – humph! Lol! They are so much fun to watch:-) I learned from a park ranger that you don’t have to simmer the food if your tap water is pretty hot. I measure 3/4 cup sugar and then 3 cups hot water (using the same measuring cup) into a quart mason jar – shake it up a few times – look for undissolved sugar – shake again if needed. Store in fridge in jar. No pan to wash – saves energy:-) See you tonight!

Yes! I wasn’t expecting him quite yet – but I was glad he let me know he was in the area. Always a crap shoot when to put the feeders back up each year! I’d read to simmer the feed to help kill off any bacteria. Who knows? Thanks, Elisha! 🙂
