Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Beautiful Boughs in White!

Good morning and Happy Merry & Bright Online Extravaganza Day!

Nope – totally made that up.  It’s not a “Day”.  It’s just a Tuesday that ALSO happens to be the day of Stampin’ Up!’s ONE-DAY-ONLY 10% off ALMOST EVERYTHING IN THE ANNUAL CATALOG sale!

Yesterday, at my inaugural Zoom The Craftroom session, one of my customers showed us a gorgeous card she’d made using this pretty set.  Which…reminded me how much I love this set!!  So…out it came!

The layout and colors are from the sketch AND photo side of this week’s FUSION challenge!

I started with a piece of Whisper White card stock that I embossed in the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder (yes – on sale today only for 10% off!) and matted on Early Espresso for the card front.

With the Beautiful Boughs dies, I cut some Mossy Meadow pine boughs and a few Whisper White pine cones.  I used Liquid Glue to adhere the detailed cones to the solid pine cones. Using my go-to berries die in the Poinsettia Dies set, I cut three copper berries from Brushed Metallic card stock.

On a piece of Whisper White, I stamped the Peaceful Boughs sentiment in Early Espresso – then cut it with the large label die in the Beautiful Boughs set.  I cut it so that the sentiment is in the top left corner of the label.

Finally – it was time to lay it all out!  Once I got everything in place – I took a picture and then took a few more pictures of the various layers.  Tip:  you work hard to get your layout the way you want it to be – so…use the camera in your phone to take pictures of your work of art so you can re-create it! 🙂

I took it all apart and layered everything back on – in order! – with Liquid Glue – until I got to the very last big pine cone.  THAT one is popped on with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  And that was it for the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the boughs from Peaceful Boughs in Mossy Meadow on a Whisper White panel.  Then I added a couple of small Early Espresso pine cones.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to an Early Espresso mat and then into my Mossy Meadow card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got more pine boughs and cones on the front…

…and on the envelope flap!

Et Voila!  Well – it should come as NO surprise to y’all that the Peaceful Boughs stamp set – and Beautiful Boughs dies – are two of my favorite SU! products EVER!!
