Stampin’ Up! Forever Greenery Quite Curvy Birthday Card

Happy Happy Hawwmp Day!  I hope your week is going well!  And I hope that, if you live in the United States, that you made it to vote – either yesterday in person – previously in person or absentee.  We went last week so it was nice to NOT have to run out first thing yesterday and hope there were no lines!  We’ve got a pretty small polling place but…still. 😉

I don’t know about y’all – but…regardless of the outcome, I’ll be pretty happy for a break from campaign commercials and ads in all my Social Media feeds.  Who’s with me?!? 🤦‍♀️

So – you guys know that Curvy Celebrations went live to customers yesterday – and that I’ve still got my Special Bundles available to you!  I decided to do another Quite Curvy card – with the addition of some Forever Greenery DSP – for a birthday card.  Take a look-see:

It’s hovering right on the edge of clean-and-simple, right?  Right

The design was kind of loosely inspired by the CAS(E) This Sketch challenge!

I started by adhering a piece of Forever Greenery DSP to a Pear Pizzazz mat for the card front.

On a piece of Whisper White, I stamped the Quite Curvy sentiment in Pretty Peacock ink.

I cut the sentiment with two of the edge dies in the bundled Curvy Dies.

I used a couple of Glue Dots to adhere a Gold Hoop Embellishment to the card front (I hid the Glue Dots on the right side – where I knew they’d be covered by the sentiment.

I popped the sentiment onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Then I tied a Double-Loop Linen Thread bow and adhered it with a Glue Dot.

I added some Elegant Faceted Gems – pink! – here and there, and the card front was done!

On the inside, I added a second Quite Curvy sentiment in Pretty Peacock on a Whisper White panel.  Next to it, I added the Quite Curvy sprig image a couple of times in Pear Pizzazz.  A single Elegant Faceted Gem finished it off.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Pear Pizzazz mat and into my Pretty Peacock card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got more Pear Pizzazz sprigs on the front…

…and I put a little more of the Forever Greenery DSP on the envelope flap.

I saw a UFO the other night. 👀👀👀👀

It was quite terrifying! 😳😳😳😳

I managed to capture some camera footage with my handy iPhone.  Thank goodness it takes good night video – cuz…otherwise, no one would ever believe me (you know, pilots pretty much refuse to report sightings – just sayin’).

But…here it is.  They’re real, people.
