Tonight, we’re headed to a friend’s to help them celebrate her birthday with a bonfire! And pizza! And Finn is going, too – so he’ll get some race-around-the-yard-with-the-Whippet time! Much to look forward to, for sure!

Finn had a pretty good Gotcha Day yesterday!
It started like most others – with a little rest right after breakfast…
He got a yummy Gingerbread Greenie from his Grandma Kate.
He was able to get between the mom and the cat and lay claim to the most coveted spot in the house…
And he got to clean up That Cat’s food plate.
Yeah. A pretty good day, I’d say!

Sometimes the dog just upstages you! So funny. The look when he finished the first cleaning of the plate was precious. You could hear the wheels turning. Wish I could have seen the live video, but was gone all day. Hope the bonfire was great, and Finn and the Whippet had a good time too.
