Stampin’ Up! You’re Wonderful Birthday Bonanza Buddies

Good morning – and happy happy HAWWWWMP DAY!!!  This is a BIG day.

In the immortal words of Vivian Ward…HUGE!

Movie reference? Anyone?  Bueller?

Sorry – got sidetracked.  BIG day – first off – the Retiring List for the 2019-2020 Annual and 2020 Jan-Jun Mini Catalogs will be released this afternoon (around 1pm Mountain time).  I’ll post when they go live – so be watching for that!

Second – for Demonstrators – today is the day that we get to see the all new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog!!  Whoo-hooo!  I’m so excited – and I just can’t hide it!!  Don’t you wish YOU were a demonstrator so you could see it, too?  Hmmm – I wonder who could help you with that?!? 🤷‍♀️

So – you’ve seen my notice down below that the Bonanza Dies are back in stock, yes?  Well – I decided to play with them today, along with the bundled Bonanza Buddies stamp set and the super cute Birthday Bonanza DSP.  Need to replenish my birthday card stash!  Take a look-see!

The layout for this one comes from one of the three sketches in this month’s Mojo Monday challenge.  Can you guess which one??

And I played along with the Hand Stamped Sentiments inspiration challenge!

I started with some paper from the Birthday Bonanza DSP that I matted on Terracotta Tile for the card front.

Then I picked two more likely DSP designs and adhered small rectangles to another Terracotta Tile mat with Liquid Glue – then to the card front with more Glue.

I cut a Stitched Shapes square die from a piece of Whisper White for the sentiment.  I added the Bonanza Buddies sentiment in Bermuda Bay.

With Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, I stamped the balloon string image and then popped the square onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped three balloons from Bonanza Buddies on Whisper White – one each in Terracotta Tile, Mango Melody and Coastal Cabana inks.  Then I cut them out with their die in the Bonanza Dies set.

Using a combination of Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals, I adhered them to the sentiment square.

I stamped the striped birthday hat in Mango Melody on Whisper White and cut it with the die in the Bonanza Dies set.  Then I adhered it to the square with a little dab of Liquid Glue.

With an even smaller dab, I added a Bermuda Bay pompom from the Assorted PomPoms pack.  And the card front was done, easy peasy!

On the inside, I added a second Birthday Buddies sentiment in Bermuda Bay to a Whisper White panel.  Next to it, I added some little pompom/sparkle images – in Mango Melody, Coastal Cabana and Terracotta Tile.  I added a narrow strip of DSP, matted on Terracotta Tile, across the bottom.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Terracotta Tile mat and into my Bermuda Bay card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got more pompom/sparkles on the front…

…and a little more Birthday Bonanza DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  This is just the cutest birthday suite, don’t you think?  The Birthday Buddies stamp set is adorbs on its own – but add in the Bonanza Dies to cut the stamped images (AND some of the images in the Birthday Bonanza DSP!) and you’ve got a winner winner chicken dinner.

I tell you – missing these dies would be a BIG mistake.  HUGE!
