Happy Happy Hawwwwmp Day!! 🙂  Hope your day is starting off well and your week has been good!

I thought you might like a little look-see at this February Lovely Day Paper Pumpkin Kit!

This fun kit – in the new and improved box! – has everything you’ll need to create NINE birthday cards – including cards that will work for men.  ALWAYS a trick, huh??  And – you KNOW how I feel about #nonekkidenvelopes!  All the envelopes are lined in coordinating paper!

Three designs….two featuring beautiful flowers (see the foil accents??)

I like this design the best of all of them, with its watercolor feel and pretty scalloped edges!

Finn Fan Fix

Tuesday was like a Monday for me.

I went to the doctor cuz my knuckle on my hand had been hurting for a while.  Thought I’d whacked it on the treadmill – exercise…it’ll getcha!  But – when it just kept hurting to the point I was annoyed with it…to the doc.

And she told me that she suspects I have…wait for it…gout.

What.  The.  HECK!?

That was pretty disappointing, not gonna lie.  Felt pretty danged old.  And also?  I have the “rich man’s disease”?  I am SO not rich and hollandaise sauce does NOT go well on cauliflower rice.  Like I said – disappointing! 😉

Got home to….this.

Which was just so cute and sweet that it made me feel ALLLLL better!   😉

Not less old – but definitely better!  😉

  1. Such a pretty kit this month! 🙂 Bummer on the hand issues. 🙁 Hopefully Finn made it all better for you. 🙂

Yes – he licked all over my hands. Tincture of dog-spit. Instant curative! Thanks, Amy – for everything! 🙂

  2. I kinda wish I had ordered this kit but I’m not passing up this month’s! Glad Finn made you feel better. Gout is no fun.

    • stampsnlingers

It’s a pretty one – I’m thinking March will be, too! Especially with TWO stamp sets! 🙂

  3. Faith Simpson

Well bummer, Mary…..so sorry that is happening. My brother had gout in his feet…..don’t know which is worse…..for a card-maker, in the hand is pretty darn awful…..I hope the doc had a miracle cure!! Prayers in your direction can’t hurt either…..

    • stampsnlingers

Prayers gratefully accepted, Faith – thank you! Meds ARE helping!! 🙂

  4. Susan K

    Lovely PP cards.
Bummer on the gout. You didn’t say which hand but I hope not your card-making one! 😉 Watch out for the caulifower now–sauce or not.

    • stampsnlingers

The card making isn’t an issue – typing is a bit of a pain. But – 800mg of Ibuprofen is going a long way to easing that up! Thanks so much, Susan! 🙂

  5. Pretty cards. Haven’t made any from that set yet. Finn is the cure-all for whatever ails you. According to Mayo Clinic Gout is a form of arthritis, affecting more men than women. Sorry to hear about it, but you did the right thing by going to the Dr. Glad there is medication for it.

    • stampsnlingers

Yeah – something about crystals in joints and…bleh. 🙂 If Finn-lickins’ has a curative effect – I’ll be tip-top in a heartbeat!! Thanks so much, Julie! 🙂
