Stampin’ Up! Botanical Prints Product Medley Thank You

Happy happy….well.  YOU know!  It’s the middle of the week – and it’s a short one at that.  Gotta love a four-day work week, right?!? 🙂

The new 2020 Jan – Jun Mini Catalog has a wonderful Product Medley – called the Botanical Prints Medley.  A product medley is a group of papers, embellishments, stamps and dies carefully curated by Stampin’ Up! to help crafters create all sorts of projects.  I used it to create today’s card.  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one is from this week’s Fab Friday challenge.

I started with some Pretty Peacock DSP (part of the Botanical Prints Product Medley) and adhered it to the front of my Pretty Peacock card base with Liquid Glue.

The art work is a piece of Whisper White, matted on Terracotta Tile.  I wrapped some Terracotta Tile 1/2″ Scalloped Linen Trim around the panel, securing it in the back with Glue Dots.

I stamped the pretty berry image from the Botanical Prints stamp set (included in the Medley) in Tuxedo Black on a seperate piece of Whisper White.  I cut them out with their matching die.

I colored those die cut berries with my Pretty Peacock and Old Olive Light Stampin’ Blends.  You don’t really even need the Dark blends – the shading lines in the images do all the work for you! 🙂

I laid the die cuts onto the art panel and used them to determine where to stamp two more berry images in Tuxedo Black.  These I left uncolored.

I popped the two die cut berries onto the card front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The Botanical Prints sentiment is stamped in Terracotta Tile on one of the banners included in the Product Medley – and then popped over the ribbon with Dimensionals.

I added a Linen Thread double-loop bow with a Glue Dot on the left side – and one of the sweet little bee embellishments (yep – from the Botanical Prints Product Medley) on the right – also with a Glue Dot.  Then a few Pretty Peacock gems from the Noble Peacock Rhinestones finished off the card front!

On the inside, I added a couple more of the berries in Tuxedo Black – coloring them with the Pretty Peacock and Old Olive Light Stampin’ Blends – to a Whisper White panel.  I also added some more of the Noble Peacock Rhinestones! 🙂

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Terracotta Tile mat and into the Pretty Peacock card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got more colored berries on the front…

…and some more of that beautiful Botanical Prints DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Wow – what a beautiful grouping of goodies this is!  Botanical Prints will bring you a lovely stamp set – with  coordinating dies – botanic print designer paper, labels, die cut images, laser cut panels and…the bees!  THE BEES!!!

Got video?

Yep.  Right here!  Check it out.  And then…get the Botanical Prints Product Medley for yourself.  I hope you like!

Finn Fan Fix

School is hard.

Even when school is shrouded in play and accompanied by copious treats.

Day 2 of Treiball basics.  We played – go to your mat.

He liked it but….school can really kick your pantaloonies!

Hard to say, though, whether he’s “pooped” or “stuffed”.  This COULD be a training-treat-coma… 😉

  1. Such a pretty card! Love that product medley, the designer papers are amazing! Poor Finn…it is rough working and eating treats. Sometimes a dog just needs a good rest. 😉

Yes – learning is hard work! And so – apparently! – is treat-eating! Thanks, Amy! 🙂

  2. Heather Heroldt

So, so lovely – and so elegant! These botanicals looks so sophisticated, and I love the muted colors! Thanks so much for playing at Fab Friday!

Thanks, Heather – really appreciate you stopping by! This is a really nice product medley! 🙂

  3. Susan K

Great take on the sketch. Those boughs just beg that bee to come on up!
Poor Finny–training and treats are a rough combination!

Thanks much, Susan! I love this Bee bundle! And yes – learning AND eating at the same time! Yikes!! 🙂
