Stampin’ Up! Most Wonderful Greatest Part of Christmas!

Morning, y’all – it’s FRIDAY!!  Whoo-hooo!  Hope you have big plans for the weekend – and the weather to enjoy them!  WE are finally – FINALLY!! – getting some Fall days!  Thank the Lord! 🙂

My card today celebrates not Fall – but Christmas!  The Most Wonderful Time Product Medley and the Greatest Part Of Christmas (a Host-Exclusive set) came together for…take a look-see:

Now – the layout for this one came from a My Favorite Things sketch challenge – but…I did a bad job of checking when the challenge ended!

But the theme plays perfectly with The Paper Players challenge!

I started with one of the thicker gold foil card fronts in the Most Wonderful Time Medley – the white with Gold stars – and adhered a smaller star-strewn Old Olive pattern from the included DSP to create the card front.

On a piece of Whisper White, I stamped the big tree image from Most Wonderful Time in Old Olive and cut it with the matching die.

Next, I pulled out the Greatest Part Of Christmas stamp set and stamped the sentiment in Real Red on Whisper White.  I cut it with a Stitched Shapes Die.

To make the presents, I used my Stamparatus to first stamp the presents in Real Red or Old Olive.  The stamp has three presents on it – so you get three at a time!  I added the ribbons in Golden Glitz Delicata Metallic Ink.  Then I cut them all out with the matching die in the Most Wonderful Time Dies (which are part of the Medley!).

I popped the Christmas tree onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added the sentiment with Liquid Glue on the left side and Stampin’ Dimensionals on the right side.

I arranged all my die-cut presents and adhered them with Liquid Glue or Stampin’ Dimensionals.  All it needed to finish it all off was a single gold faceted star from the Most Wonderful Time Medley at the top of the tree!

On the inside, I added a second Greatest Part of Christmas sentiment in Real Red on a Whisper White panel.  Around it, I scattered some stars from Most Wonderful Time in Golden Glitz Delicata Metallic Ink.  Then I adhered one of the die-cut presents with Liquid Glue.  And I added one more gold faceted star – cuz I like ’em! 🙂

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Real Red mat and into my Old Olive card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got more Most Wonderful Time stars in Golden Glitz Delicata Metallic Ink on the front…

…and more of the Old Olive DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  It’s crazy fun how many goodies come packed in the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley!  Really – ust add the “staples” and you’re all ready to go – with the stamp set and matching dies, foil-accented card fronts, Designer Series Paper, and pretty stickers and embellishments!  Do be sure to check it out.  And – while you’re at it – take a gander at the Host Exclusive Greatest Part of Christmas stamp set.  I hope you like!

Finn Fan Fix

Just want to show y’all what a good helper the Finn-man is!

Last night on our walk, Wayne asked him to carry one of his water bottles back to the house.

So…he did!

We kept waiting for him to get tired of it and drop it, but…

As we got closer to the house…(excuse my goofy-sounding narrative – I was trying to get him to look back so you could see the bottle in his mouth!!).  DO check the pantaloon-swing!

…we figured there was one of two ways this was going to go…one leaving the water still in the bottle and drinkable and one…not so much!

Got lucky!! 🙂
