Stampin’ Up! Everything is Rosy Happy Birthday!

Happy happy HAWWWMP Day!!  Hope the week is going well for you!

So – LAST week, as a result of my order bork-i-fication, my Everything Is Rosy set arrived at the hotel just in time – almost literally – to be packed into the car to come home!  My stamping spot was pretty much packed up and half of it was in the car.  So…I’ve been remiss in sharing projects with you using this fun set.

Today – that’s fixin’ to change!  Take a look-see:

The fun layout for this one comes from this week’s CAS Colours & Sketches challenge.

I started with a piece of Whisper White card stock for the card front.  Then I adhered a 1″ x 3 3/4″ strip of the new Everything Is Rosy DSP (included in the medley!) on the top.  For the triangles, I used a second design of the DSP – I cut a 2″ x 3 3/4″ strip and then used my Trimmer to create the triangles.  I adhered them with Liquid Glue.

I used my Stamparatus to stamp the Everything Is Rosy sentiment (just ONE of the many cool sentiments in the stamp set) in Night of Navy onto the card front.  Then I matted the panel onto a piece of the Rose Gold Foil (yes, ALSO in the Product Medley!).

On a piece of Whisper White, I stamped the flower image from Everything Is Rosy in Melon Mambo.  Then I stamped the small flower in stamped-off-once Blushing Bride.  I added some Melon Mambo dots to the center of that one.

I cut the flowers with the dies in the Everything Is Rosy Dies (say it with me – ALSO in the Medley!).  Then I popped the smaller flower onto the large flower with a Stampin’ Dimensional.

I cut some beautiful leaves from Rose Gold Foil – aren’t they gorgeous? – and adhered them to the card front with Liquid Glue.  The medley also includes two spools of ribbon – and I cut a couple of short lengths of the Night of Navy/Rose Gold ribbon and adhered them as well.  Finally, I added the stacked flower with Liquid Glue.

To finish it off, I added some of the included Rose Gold Adhesive-Backed Mirror Embellishments – and the card front was done!

On the inside, I added a second sentiment in Night of Navy to a Whisper White panel.  Over top, I added a Melon Mambo flower with a stamped-off-once Blushing Bride middle and Melon Mambo dots.  I stuck another Mirror Embellishment next to the sentiment.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Rose Gold Foil mat and into my Night of Navy card base.  Then I added another Rose Gold Foil leaf with Liquid Glue – making sure to let it “spill” off the edge.  Then I popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got another flower on the front…

…and more of the Everything Is Rosy DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I am surely sorry it’s taken me so long to break open this Everything Is Rosy Product Medley!  Wow – what a massive set of goodies – just waiting for your creative endeavors!  I love that it is NOT a kit – just perfectly perfect ingredients – all coordinated for you and ready to go!  I hope you like!

Do NOT miss this medley – you’ve only got two more weeks and a little change to get it for yourself!

P.S.  We lost two Hollywood greats this week.  Doris Day – my oh my, I loved watching her on screen – and then she became an animal advocate.  What a wonderful lady.  And Tim Conway – who made me laugh until I cried more times than I can remember.  I will never forget the New Dentist skit when Harvey Korman simply could not keep from laughing thru it.  The heavens are singing and laughing this week, for sure.

Finn Fan Fix

Sometimes – no matter how much fun you’re having with your favotire toy in the WORLD – you…hear something.  In the kitchen!

And – as any good guard dog – be it Rottweiller, Doberman or Aussie – knows…you GOTTA stop whatever you’re doing.

No.  Matter.  What.

And be sure…no one is…

…giving anything AT ALL to that danged cat! 😉
