Stampin’ Up! Well Written Blooms for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Hey y’all – it’s Thursday, so it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!!  Today’s a color challenge – and I’m excited to see what everyone comes up with using these bright, fun colors!  I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop.

I pulled out the Bloom By Bloom stamp set and the coordinating Happiness Blooms DSP to make a pretty, cheery thank you card – with the addition of a quick die-cut sentiment from the wonderful Well Written Framelits.  Take a look-see:

Can you guess our colors?? 😉

I always like a little help with the layout, so I went to this week’s CAS(E) This Sketch challenge.

I started with some beautiful Call Me Clover paper from the Happiness Blooms DSP and matted it on Night of Navy for the card front.

Then I cut a smaller, narrow Whisper White panel to build my art panel.

I stamped two flowers from the Bloom By Bloom stamp set in Lovely Lipstick, sort of back to back.  They kind of ended up looking like a butterfly.  Although that wasn’t my intent, it’s kind of cool, don’t you think?

Then I added some leaves in Call Me Clover and some dots in Night of Navy.

I matted the panel on Night of Navy and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.

Using the die from the Well Written Framelits, I cut a Sparkle Glimmer Paper and a Night of Navy sentiment.  Then I adhered them together with some Liquid Glue, offsetting the Night of Navy die cut just a little to create a shadow.  I adhered the whole thing to the card front with more Liquid Glue.

I added some Lovely Lipstick Glitter Enamel Dots and the card front was done!

On the inside, I added more flowers, leaves and dots to a Whisper White panel.  Easy Peasy!

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Night of Navy mat and into my Call Me Clover card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got more Bloom By Bloom images on the front…

…and a little more Happiness Blooms DSP on the envelope flap.  Plus one more flower cuz I was having such fun stamping them! 🙂

Et Voila!  This image-only Bloom By Bloom stamp set is a ton of fun to make artsy flowers – or butterflies! – with!  And I love the designs in the Happiness Blooms DSP, don’t you?  Hope you like!
