Good morning and Happy Happy Hawmp Day from Orlando! Whoo-hoo!!
We had an uneventful trip down yesterday – even if it WAS raining – and got to our condo in good “pretty” time…tip: never get off the freeway. PAY the toll on the Turnpike. That’s all I’m saying about that…
Today is CenterStage – which is being held at Epcot! I’ll head over around lunch time to be a kid-at-heart for a few hours, take in the Wine & Food Festival for a while (and try to walk off the calories – oh heck, who’m I kidding??! I’m leaving the diet at the condo!!). I’m excited!! I love Disney – not gonna lie. And Epcot is awesome. Soaring…here I come!!
But – before I head off to see the Mouse, let me show you a fun little (literally!) notecard I made with the Feather & Frost stamp set and the All Things Thanks set. Take a look-see:
I played along with a couple of challenges on this one! The first is The Card Concept challenge.
And the second is the Inspire. Create challenge.
This is a quick one – and it’s perfect for making multiples – especially if you have a Stamparatus! 🙂
I started with a piece of 3″ x 6″ Thick Whisper White card stock that I scored and folded at 3″. Then I adhered a piece of Country Lane DSP to the front – it’s a 3″ square so it covers the entire front of the card.
Using the Stamparatus, I stamped the large frame image from Feather & Frost in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a Crumb Cake square. Then I colored it with my Light and Dark Pumpkin Pie and Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blends. I adhered the panel over the card front.
On another piece of Crumb Cake, I stamped the All Things Thanks sentiment in Cajun Craze and punched it with the Everyday Label Punch. I added faux stitches with my Cajun Craze Stampin’ Write Marker and popped the sentiment on with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I tied a tiny Linen thread bow and adhered it with a scrunched up Glue Dot – added a gold Metallic Pearl and the card front was done!
On the inside, I simply added a leaf from Feather & Frost in Tuxedo Black and colored it with the Blends.
I took one of the Whisper White 3″ x 3″ Envelopes and added the Feather & Frost leaf on the front…
…and I added a little more Country Lane DSP to the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Quick note cards – the Feather & Frost image is the perfect size! – and easily made into multiples with the Stamparatus! Hope you like!
